"Do you know
For you, I'd bleed myself dry"

They were holding hands.

They were in potions class and holding hands.

Harry could scream.

Harry wanted to cry.

Draco wanted to smile.

Harry was freaking out.

He'd never been in a relationship before.

Not since he came out.

But was this even a relationship?

To Draco, this was easy.

To Harry, this was a nightmare.

Harry couldn't handle opening up to someone new.

He did that.

With his two best fiends.

And look where they are now.

Class ended.

Harry let go of Draco's hand.

He grabbed his bag and left the classroom.

Draco was following him but Harry didn't want to talk to him.

"Potter!"

They were in an empty corridor.

Harry kept walking.

Draco caught up to him and grabbed his wrist.

"Malfoy leave me alone."

The Gryffindor was angry.

The Slytherin frowned.

"Just tell me what's wrong."

"Nothing's wrong Mal-" Harry protested.

"Bullshit." He interrupted.

Draco let go of his wrist.

"Just talk to me." Draco pleaded.

Harry sighed.

"What are we?" Harry asked abruptly. "I mean do I even mean anything to you?"

"You're the most important person in the world to me." Draco whispered. "I want to be with you. It's all I've ever wanted."

"I think I want that too." Harry said.

Draco raised a brow at the brunette.

"You think?"

Harry laughed.

"No- I do want that. I just- I," Harry paused, "I don't want to get hurt again."

Harry was looking at the floor now.

Draco frowned again.

"I promise," Draco took Harry's hands in his, "I won't let anything happen to you."

The Gryffindor wrapped his arms around the Slytherin and buried his head in Draco's chest.

They stood there for a while.

Just wrapped in each other's arms.

But that's all they needed.
