Judy's POV:
As I finished singing, it seemed like everything went in slow motion. The crowd cheered, whistled, and a few camara flashes appeared upon me. Is this my hidden talent?
Among the audience I see Nick standing up while clapping. For the first time he had a proud smile on his face. Every other smile I saw at home was with either a hint of sadness or a pinch of shyness with a nervous smile and humble eyes.
Within the minute I grasp reality and see Gazelle walk gracefully onto the stage with a paper in hand. Once she stood next to me she kneeled on one knee, her sparkling eyes staring along with mine and said "would you be interested in working for my company?"
Can someone pinch me?Nicks POV:
While taking in Judy's audition, Gazelle walked from her seat towards where Judy stood alone, she talked in a low voice and with her hoove on Judy's shoulder.
I've seen this before...
When I was 16, I used to watch Gazelle all the time. Whenever she kneeled, mammals would get shocked that their magestic angel would look upon those below her level, but she meant good intentions. She was able to see the story behind a mammal within their voice and choice of song. Gazelle isnt just known for her beautiful vocals, but rather the grace she had with animals. Gazelle gave them a new life. The opportunity to start a new chapter. Believe me, I was almost there.
After school, I'd always sing in the subway. I sang because I believed that predators and prey could become a synchronized harmony. Until one day, in the corner of a subway cart, I saw a short blonde haired giraffe with big shades in a beige coat across from me. That day I decided to "I want it that way" by the Backstreet Wolves.
Through out the whole song she snapped along and created chorus. Her voice seemed so familiar to my ears... Yet when the song ended, she lowered her shades and signaled me with her head along with her hoove patting the seat next to her. With nerves taking over me, she looked within my eyes and wondered if I was interested getting into the music industry. Back then I was, it was the only thing in life that inspired me to keep my head up and look towards the future. She also asked me if I would consider working with her in the future. Sadly my pride kindly declined my once in a life time opportunity but my reasoning behind it was to make it to the top with no shortcuts.
Now that I see her with Judy, I can tell she is giving her the same offer. But from what I know about that adorable doe standing in shock under the bright light, she would take the opportunity to be with her idol. And I cant stop her. This is her path to take.
A/N: Hello guys! I hope y'all enjoyed this chapter, I really tried making this on my 30 min break from work... But overall enjoy!
