After the talent show, Judy held on to the paper tightly in her paw. With a big smile spread across her face, Nick couldn't help but feel pain in his chest. Yet, he hid his sadness with a fake smile on his muzzle.
"So... Are you going to keep that as a memoir or are you going to follow a path that has been cleared for you?" He asked to his little gray doe sitting next to him.
Between giggles and smiles she said "Oh, Nick you have no idea of how happy I am to be seen by my idol! By the greatest singer of our lifetime! Eeeeek!!!"
With a soft laugh he nodded his head in agreement. "You're right. But here's the million dollar question, are you going with her? Are you going to leave everything behind and look forward to the bright future ahead of you?"
Judy's amethyst eyes suddenly went wide open with reality hitting her. Then she faced her guardian angel in red fur, "does this mean you wont be coming along with me on this journey? Will I ever see you again? Will you forget me?!? " she questioned with fear.
A sudden force went on her shoulder and pushed Judy into Nicks chest, giving her the comfort of his warm soft arms around her.
"Oh Judy, dont be sad" he cooed, while hearing her sobs on his chest. "Whatever you end up choosing at the end of the day, you'll make me happy. Just remember, I'll be here for you. I'll always be here for you. Choose what's best for you, for us. I'll support you along the way." He whispered against the top of her head. Holding her tightly against his chest he felt something that he hadnt felt in a while. Loneliness. If Judy chose to follow Gazelle he would be proud to see her name be mentioned and be knowned across the world. Yet that would create sadness in his heart. When his mother left, he never had anyone be close to him. Since he met Judy he sensed happiness again
But if she stayed with him, he would be working mostly during the day and spend the warm afternoons with her and live a happy and simple life. He'd promise to make everyday count.
