[POV: Nobody]

It has been eleven whole years since that day. Akio hasn't been the same ever since then. He was moved into a horrible foster home, the people there only cared about themselves. Akio isolated himself from them as much as possible, he was in a state of depression anyway. He didn't feel the same ever since his parents were murdered, and his mother was... well, you know. He is now 16 years old, and now the story will only get better from here.

Date: 1582 December 1st.

[POV: Akio]

I was sitting outside on the porch, it was 12am, yet the street lights made everything seem like it was much more active. Though it was late at night, people still roamed the streets, mainly walking to the shoppers market down the road. I honestly hated everything about my life. My foster family is full of selfish assholes, I wish they would just leave me the fuck alone. I'm just gonna run away, far from here, there is gonna be a trader coming here soon, I will just go pack my bags and sneak on board.

[3 hours later, POV: Akio]

"It's 3am now, the trader usually comes around for restock at this time." I quietly crept out of the first story window, didn't bother closing it though. As I walked through the village I found myself near the shopping center, it was empty, quiet and dark too. The only light there was the lanterns by each of the stables. I quickly took some food to keep me going, who knows how long it'll be till I see another village. I finally found the trader, he finished stocking up and he was about to leave. I quickly jumped in the cart as his horse started to walk. Onto the next village.
