Humanity is far from apes or any monkeys as your book references, it is not judged by the appearance or any resemblance but the truth is every organisms, bacteria, animals includes human kind came from 1 singular cell that our Great God himself created. To put it simply we are derived from only one being that mutates evolve tested by natural selection to adapt in the surroundings or ecological system they hunt, indeed scatter around the planet and change forms physically and psychologically.

I therefore conclude that Human is closer to Dogs or Cats as we eat almost the very same thing, obviously murdered ancestral beings that we now called beef, pork, fried or broth; we are pretty much built up by those proteins as our pet also devours the leftover evidence of a murder scene.

Feed me sort of plants, vegetables or fruits and i will left some debris, feed me meat and i almost leave no trace, because plant based delicacy are naturally grown but meat contains life and soul, someone died for this meal, therefore it should not be wasted.
