Was there any other day fit for the perfect date?

Enji walked around, finishing up his patrol for the day. He was a bit excited to say the least but his face didn't show it that much. In a few hours, he would be meeting up with his boyfriend, Hawks since they had planned to fo on a date.

The man honestly wasn't a big date person but he would make an exception for this one since Hawks seemed so excited for it. They had planned it out so that they would be having dinner at one of the fancy restaurants on the top floors of a building.

"Im heading out now. See you all tomorrow" he said to his sidekicks at his agency. He checked the time before getting out his keys and going to his car. Just then he got a text on his phone. It was from his boyfriend Keigo, also known as Hawks.

'Heyy, sorry to say this so soon but Im feeling a bit under the weather today so we could postpone the date for maybe next week?'

Hawks had texted. Enji was kinda confused at this text. It had only been a couple hours since he last saw him. Why was he feeling like this all of a sudden? It was strange. He thought a bit before texting back.

'No problem. Do you want me to stop by later with some food?'

Enji knew it may have been a little cheezy but he just really cared for his boyfriend. Plus he just really wanted to see him.

'Nah, it's fine. I have chicken noodle soup that Miruko brought over'

Keigo had texted back almost immediately. It was a habit of his so Enji didn't really mind that. The only thing that was bothering him was why Keigo didn't want to see him. That was at least a bit strange.

'Alright then, i'll see you tomorrow then'

Enji had texted, Keigo replying with a simple 'Yeah you too' a couple moments after. The number one hero looked around before getting in his car. He just hoped he didn't do anything to mess this up with his boyfriend. They have been dating for almost a year now, and he was really happy with the other man. This was like a new chance at relationships for him and he didn't want to waste it.

After starting his car, he drove to his house. He had no clue if his kids were going to be home or not but he decided he would just surprise them if they were. Soon after driving back to his house he parked the car in his driveway and headed inside the house. Tere were quite a few voices from inside the dining room, since the doors were left ajar.

"Are you sure it's fine if I sit like this?" A girl's voice said. Enji had never heard this one before so he was naturally a bit curious about it.

"Of course. It's not everyday my brother brings home a girl, '' Natsu's voice said. "And Fuyumi is more than happy for Shoto to bring anyone home," he added.

"It's fine, See? Fuyumi and Natsu don't really care, and my dad is out so we are fine" Shoto's voice said. Enji guessed it was a bad time to be here. It was his house but he really didn't want to invade other people's privacy, even if it was his kids.
