Naomi sighed and yawned gently scratching her cheek as she looked at the back of Mahiru's head since she was walking behind him. "Mahiru, are you sure you should be doing everything? I want to help out, but you never let me."
Mahiru looked over at Naomi and hummed. "It's way simpler if I just do it myself." Mahiru pointed at himself looking at Naomi smiling. Naomi blinked and sighed shaking her head as she yawned shoving her hands into her hoodie pockets.
"Could you at least let me help with the cooking, Mahiru? I know how to and I think it would be best if I do the food committee thing. You already have too much on your plate." Mahiru shook his head at Naomi looking forwards again.
"I'll do it, Naomi. You don't need to help me with this, I've got it!" Mahiru said, proudly. Naomi sighed shaking her head as she looked to her right and blinked. The older girl walked towards the small alleyway and she bent down to look at the small furry creature in front of her. "Naomi! Where did you go!?" Naomi blinked as she picked up the creature holding the little guy in her arms, walking out of the alleyway. Naomi looked down at the creature humming slightly as she gently started to scratch his head.
"Naomi there you are! I was worried about you baka." The girl huffed as she was bonked on the head.
"I'm sorry Mahiru but I found this cat and I wanna keep him" Naomi looked up at Mahiru as she felt a pat on her head. Mahiru sighed as he looked down at the cat and nodded. "Alright it would be the simplest thing to do."
Naomi slightly nodded walking faster to their home with newfound energy as Mahiru laughed. "Naomi wait up! I get you're excited but calm down!" Mahiru smiled running after the excited girl.

Naomi hummed sitting on the couch as she held the cat up in the air tilting her head. "What should I name you little kitten?" Naomi mumbled, looking up at the cat as it slightly opened its eyes showing red ruby-like eyes.
Naomi's eyes slightly sparkled for just a second. "Here you go, Naomi. I was able to find this lying around." Naomi looked up and saw Mahiru beside her holding out a collar with a bell attached to it. The brunette gently placed the kitten down on her lap as she grabbed the collar from Mahiru's hand. Naomi hummed as she put the collar around the black cat's neck sighing slightly as she held the black cat up.

"Hmmmmmm I think I'll name you Kuro little one," Naomi said watching as Kuro's eyes fluttered showing his beautiful red ruby eyes.
Mahiru chuckled as he patted her head. "That's a good simple name it sounds like something I would name him." Naomi blinked as she looked up at Mahiru and nodded gently putting the now-named cat on the couch as she stood up.
