Chapter 6: Strange Encounter

It was late at night, around 8:00pm, as Bakugo and everyone else kept searching abandoned places, trying to find secrets, but they couldn't find anything. After an hour of searching, everyone started getting exhausted and slowly started losing hope.

Shoji: "Bakugo, we've searched everywhere and we haven't found a trace, are you sure you know what we're doing and where we're going?"

Bakugo: "ZIP IT! I know what the hell I'm doing and I don't need an octopus like you helping me! *sigh* Let's keep looking, and I don't want to hear anyone complain!"

Deku: "Kacchan, I have a plan."

Bakugo: "Tch, what kind of idiotic plan do you have!"

Deku: "Well, I think the problem is that we've been sticking together and we aren't covering enough ground. If we were to split into groups, we can cover more ground as long as we stay within our groups."

Momo: "Midoryia is right, we need to split up."

Bakugo: "Tch fine! We'll split up into groups of 5 and 6!"

Bakugo, Deku, Momo, Jirou, Kirishima, and Iida were in Group 1, while Todoroki, Mina, Kaminari, Ojiro, and Shoji were in Group 2.

Deku: "Alright guys, we don't have much time since it's already getting dark, so we'll meet back here in an hour, got it?"

Everyone: "Right!"

With that said, both groups walked into opposite directions.

-With Group 1-

They all headed towards where the mall was, since they believe villains could be holding a secret lair or could be hiding there.

Kirishima: "Bro, are you certain this is where they're hiding, the mall is open right now so I don't think they'll be in there."

Deku: "I'm not certain, but villains can be unpredictable and hide literally anywhere if they wanted. I don't think they're in here, but it's worth a try."

As they started walking closer towards the mall, they heard a strange, rather unnerving voice.

???: "You kids seem lost and confused, how about I help you around here?"

The voice was in a dark area around the bushes, too dark to see their face.

Bakugo: "Beat it creep! We don't have time for your stupid nonsense!"

???: "Seems like your friend has anger issues, but I'm not here to fight or argue, I'm here to guide you kids."

Momo: "No thank you, we're perfectly fine on our own." Momo said this with an agitated and cautious voice.

Jirou: "So now can you leave us alone you weirdo or else we'll call the police on you!"

???: "Oh, I don't think that's gonna happen..."

Deku: "W-what do you mean by that?" Deku started to sound frightened, but put up a small fighting pose on case he needs to take action.

Kirishima: "Bro, we can't use our quirks in public, we just have to be careful about this unmanly person."

Deku: "I know, but I'll make it small and unnoticeable so I won't cause a huge ruckus."
