Tough Road

I felt like I should always know

That I have no where else to go

On this long, tough road.

I felt like you would always know

When I'm hiding that smile I like to show.

I assumed you would always see

When I was anything but happy,

And I knew you cared,

But what I didn't know,

I guess really scared,
