"Oh, so I won't die yet again.." Jack sighed.
"I saw him again, that must mean that he will soon..find me."
Jack rolled his eyes and scoffed.
"Whatever. The sooner my head gets chomped off the better."
He said little annoyedly.
"Hm..I wish I could have done better? What does that supposed to mean? Was that..the regret I wanted? I really hope so.. I mean, I can't know for sure. I lost most of my emotions after all.."
Jack stayed in silence for a minute and thinked, tried to remember.
"What if..What if I'll do something today that I will REALLY regret? Like, getting the police to put me in jail? Something really fun, but making it all drown in regret when the cops caught me? That's it!"
Jack stepped out of the bed and stood up with his left over motivation.
"I, Jack Sport-Old-Tarangine Kennedy, will do something epicly stupid today!"
"Not without me sportsy!"
"Wha-"
All of the sudden a tall, skinny figure busts out of the closet. A really purple one.
"Dave?! Why are in my home? Again..?"
"Look at your alarm, you overslept. I called you few times then got worried. But gladly you were just having your sweet-sweet dreams about us, committing our favourite crimes together, and getting banned from country to country! That's why I hid in the closet, not to wake you up AND to suprise you!" Dave smiled at him with his usual, overconfident smile.
"Good thing he didnt wake me up so I wouldnt miss any of the dream. How nice of him I guess. Yea, but he's still in my house."
"I-I mean, thanks Dave? But that won't change the fact that you are in my house without my knowing and permission!
What if I would get so scared to death? Like a heart attack or some shit?"
"I mean" Dave paused just to look at sportsy with that smug smile of his.
"Then I would have an excuse to use CPR on you~"
He giggled a little and put his right hand in fingergun position, directing it right at sportsy.
Sadly for him, his sportsy doesnt (at least doesnt wanna) give off a positive reaction.
"Are you trying to flirt or what? Eighter way you are just right ahead TERRIBLE at it"
Jack said in the same smug tone as Dave, not meaning to offense him, raising his cutten eyebrow.
"I uh-" Dave not expecting this awser, trying to play it off cool, so his sportsy wouldnt feel unconfortable.
"If I would have to save your life I would fuck you in the ass if needed, lol"
Dave said to back himself up.
To be honest, never heard of a worst backup. Funny n all but it just would make stuff worse.
"Pfft- weirdo. I appreciate your enthutiasm tho, lol"
Dave seemed to hide a little relief for some reason.
"Also Dave"
"Hm?"
"Next time, at least send a message that you're coming over"
"Oh! I did though. Don't worry, I learned from last time..and the laster time than that..the shower incident.."
"Yea, I dont wanna speak of that again.. But also, thanks for changing that habit of yours though." Jack chuckled a little. He was suprised that Dave did change a force of habit just for his comfort. Still, hard to belive, we are talking about DAVE afterall. So guess he is capable of change.
Like a true friend would do right?
"So about the thing you weirdly shouted for yourself today. What do you wanna do?"
Oh right, I still gotta do something regrettable.
"Hmm. Something that can attract the cops?"
"Woah woah sportsy! That's kinda beyond the goal. We can do other itty bitty crimes that the cops will just care less about. Like, poinoning a kid with pizza back in fazbenders. Or maybe lighting up a trashcan-"
"I wouldn't feel sorry for a trashcan Dave"
"What?"
"What? Uh- I mean, these are stuff we do like, every twice a week. I need something..different"
"Oh you're looking for some excitment I see?.. hmm.."
Dave walked a little up and down in the room, thinking, hatchling the perfect idea for his dear sport old.
"What if..we would break into someone house and-"
"Phoneys house." Jack cut in his sentence.
Dave looked at Jack with raised eyebrows, since its usually him suggesting such ideas, like, strangling toddlers with sausages..oh god the sausages..
But Dave liked this new "confidence or something" of his.
"Hehe, I like where this is going, Jack."
Dave smiled at his fellow comrade.
"So, is fucking up phoney's house enough for ya?"
Jack drowned himself in a few hmms for a min or two
"Oh yea. Would I feel regret if I would fuck his house up? I mean, he sure is a kinder boss than back in Colorado. He would deserve it THAT much..worth a try. If not, more illegal stuff is getting involved" Jack monoguaged in himself.
"Yea I guess. Sounds good enough to me"
"Heh, very well then. Let's soon get to business, partner"
Dave came up to sportsy and pat his shoulder.
"Heh thats nice" he thought. He seemed sorta comforted by his offer of help. He helps him a lot generally too. Making him feel things, making him feel sorta alive sometimes... But he tries to hide it even from himself, especially nowadays, during the burnout. But not today. This day was about him letting his emotions go off. All of those little things he felt may have gotten him closer to the feeling he wanted. So he let in as much as he could, even the comfort.
"Thanks Dave, you are helping me a lot. Generally too to be honest"
"Aw come on, anything for ya sportsy"
Dave smiled at him yet again.
Jack couldnt ingnore the comfort now. But didn't acknowlaged it eighter.
"Now now, dress up and let's get to phoney's house"
"Sure thing Dave"
Jack walked to his closet and picked out an orange hoodie, grey jeans and a pair of socks. He almost forgot that Dave was still there. He stared at him, giving him a sign that he should leave now.
"Uhh"
"What?"
"Would you mind if I would just.."
"Oh right! Looks like I can't get away with it. Sorry sportsy." He finally stood up and left.
"Can't get away with it? Pft..weirdo. He better not peek at me and I wouldnt even understand the reason of that." He didnt even understood the reason HE said that. Whatevs then.
And so, Jack started to dress up so the mission could begin.
