After the food was served everyone went into their own conversations but I just ate until Jason Todd asked me a question, "So... Marinette right?" I nodded, "Was Dick a good tour guide."
"Yes he was." I replied
"I'm surprised." He said back.
I was confused but didn't question it. Lila caught our conversation and said, "Oh! You don't want to talk to her! She is such a bully!"
"Ms. Rossi I suggest you stay out of there conversation." Bruce butted in.
"But Lila is your soon to be daughter in law!" Alya said rather loudly to which Bruce raised an eyebrow.
"Is that so? Who is she engaged to? I have never seen Ms. Rossi a day in my life."
"She is engaged to Damien Wayne! And you are a Liar!"
"I am not dating anyone. And I won't be dating anyone for a long time. And don't accuse my father of being a liar. He is anything but." Damien said surprising me with defending his father.
"Ms. Cesaire please calm down and sit or I will be forced to take action." Bruce said giving her a small glare.
"No! You are all Lying to us to make Lila look bad!"
"Alfred please escort everyone but Ms. Dupain-Cheng back to their bus yo go home." Bruce said
"No! You can't do that!"
"Oh Can't I?"
Soon everyone but Me was out the door. They all turned to me and invited me to sit in the living room. I complied.
"So How have you been all these years." Bruce asked surprising everyone but me and Alfred.
"Good, You?"
"Yes I'm fine." He gave me a small smile which cause all of his kids to go wide eyed.
"Father how do you know Marinette?" Dick asked.
"That is not my name." I said butting in.
"What do you mean? We did a background check on everyone." Tim said looking more awake.
"Legally yes that is my name but before my name was MariQuinn Ivy, daughter of Harley Quinn and The Joker." They all stared wide eyed at this turn of events.
"Harley Quinn and The Joker don't have kids." Damien Deadpanned.
This time Bruce responded, "yes they do. I met her when she was little. She was a secret."
"Are you still in contact with them." Damien asked
"Yes."
"Give us there contact information."
"No."
"Yes."
"I said no. You will have to fight me for it."
"Okay this will be easy. Let's go to the mats."
"Not now. This will me a fair fight so the day we get to have the self defense lessons is the day that we will spar. You win, you get the contact information. I win, I get to patrol with you guys every night of our stay."
"But you aren't a vigilante."
"Your right. I'm a hero."
"Which hero?"
"You'll see."
"You can patrol tonight just to see if it is worth it."
"Okay."
(I know that Tikki or Ladybug hasn't been in this story but let's just say that she talks to Tikki just I forgot to add dialogue and HawkMoth was defeated a few months ago so she doesn't transform a lot because there is no reason to.)
"Go get changed."
"No need."
"What?"
"You'll see. Tikki, Spots On!! Yeah!"
A bright light flashed and there I was in my ladybug suit. They were staring wide eyed again. "Well let's get going!" I said snapping them out of it.
This is going to be fun.
Sorry it is short but next chapter will be better and they will be on Patrol in it so be ready for that! Will Damien fall for Mari soon or will you have to do the impossible and wait? Bye bye Little Butterflies 🦋!
