Prologue:
Three years ago, Adalia Eberhart was sixteen years old. Her parents were rarely home due to work. She walked from school to her apartment everyday and vice versa. The thing is, she lived in the city and there were alleyways on every block.
On this particular day, the rain was pounding at the concrete as lighting struck and thunder boomed. It was impossible to see anything within ten feet away from her and it was way too dark to be 2:40 PM. She left her umbrella home and she was drenched within five minutes of stepping out of the school. It would take her ten more minutes to get home.
It should have, at least, until she was pulled by the collar of her shirt into a nearby alleyway. She tried to scream but her sound was muffled by a hand covering her mouth.
Get off of me! she tried to exclaim.
"Listen to me, little girl, or I will take your life. You hear me?" the man spoke.
She nodded as tears trickled down her face, trying to stop any noises she was making.
"I want you to kill a woman for me. I'll pay you. If you refuse, I'll kill you and everyone close to you. Got it?" he said, letting go of her collar and mouth.
She didn't even dare to run. She noticed the knife in his hand and the gun on his waistband.
"Who?" was all she said.
"My wife."
A/N: Okay. Hey guys. (: So, this is more of an ominous story. I have a few warnings for this story, though. There will be a lot of blood shed in this story and I'm not sure how descriptive it will be yet, so at whatever point I reach when it pops up, I'll mention it before the story starts. I hope you guys like the idea of this story because I sure do. I'm a bit dark like that, ha. So, I'm planning on putting up the first chapter sometime soon. I think this story will be pretty... Interesting to say the least. Hope you guys liked this very short & vague prologue. (:
