Orchestra class is my favorite class of the day. It reminds me of my hopes and dreams of becoming a musician. When my family knocked me down, my violin brought me back up. I sit in my first chair of the first violins, I loved it when I was given this spot last year, I had worked so hard on even becoming a first violin that when my teacher gave me the spot I was happily surprised.
My stand partner, Reanna sat down next to me with a smile. Even though it was the first day, the pieces that we would be playing had been sent out over the summer so we could dive right in. Reanna turned towards me and asked me, "How was your summer?"
"It was okay, I guess, I looked at colleges and universities this summer so that was great except I didn't go to the colleges that I wanted to see. My parents decided that," I replied with a sickly sarcastic tone.
Reanna laughed and replied with a wink and a sly smile. Getting out my music, Ms. Wood our conductor came out and said "Get out your music and turn to the piece Cappriccio Espagnol. Hurry up and get tuned so we can begin class!"
I quietly groaned as I knew that this piece I had to play a soli with a cellist and a second violin. Ms. Wood came up to the podium and flicked her wrist and we followed in suit lifting our instruments and letting our bodies be let go in the music. We played the first measure and the flutes were extremely beautiful against my wood instrument. When it came time for my soli I played my heart out and Ms. Wood slightly turned and smiled at me. I smiled back and continued to play. When we finished the first movement Ms. Wood stopped us and told us that we were only going to play the first movement and that I would have to figure out an ending for all of the parts, I accepted graciously even though I didn't want to write a bunch of parts.
Walking to health I run into a person causing my health book and all of the music I needed to write parts for fall to the ground, I get on the ground to pick them up. I looked up and saw a face I'd never seen. He had blond hair that was slightly spiked with what I assume is some sort of product. Traveling lower I find out that he has piercing blue eyes that only can be described as icy. He scowled and barks out, "What the hell did you run into me for?"
"I didn't run into you," I retort. "You need to look where you're going." I get up from the ground with my stuff and walk away feeling triumphant. Walking into the health room I sit in a seat and wait for Mrs. Jones to start class. Mrs. Jones begins with class with her famous beginning of the year lecture she does every year. I zone out immediately and start to write some music for the ends of Cappriccio Espangnol. Mrs. Jones barks out, "Vivienne repeat back what I just said."
Suddenly feeling embarrassed I stay silent until I hear a rough voice from behind me. "She told us that this years big project is the baby project," the voice tells me smoothly.
"Ma'am, you told us that the baby project was our big project this year," I say hoping that the rough voice was correct.
Mrs. Jones gives a slight, "Hmph," and continues on with her lesson.
I turn around to thank the person and I find the icy blue eyes with a mischievous look in them.

I get off the metro and walk to the apartment. Walking I take in the sight of my brother who inherited the creamy, dark brown eyes of my mother, while I on the other hand took after my father with my blue-ish eyes. Both of us sharing our hair color of brown anyone who looked at us would know we were siblings.
"Are mom and dad coming home?" I ask my brother as I walk into the kitchen.
"No, I thought they told you, mom and dad are not coming back for a while, they got called back to California for some business deal."
"Oh, I see," I murmur not even surprised, "What do you want for dinner?" I change the subject and get out my materials for my homework.
"Can we have Chipotle?"
"That's exactly what I was thinking."
A/N
I know this chapter is terribly short and I haven't posted in two weeks (or something crazy like that). It's just that I've been terribly busy with the orchestra's that I'm in. Soon those will be over with and school will be over. Until then my updates will be staggered. I feel really bad but soon I (hopefully) will have longer chapters.
If you find any mistakes I'm sorry I didn't edit it and I only did spell check.
I love you my little Peter Pan's.
I'll see you in Neverland.
