It had been a chill day for Audrey as she felt poorly with a fever and a headache and no mason around because he had training he had texted her this morning to check up on her

He was the sweetest always checking up on her all the time he really did love her she thought as a best friend tho she didn't think he would like her as a girlfriend as he still talked about Lizzie quite a lot she thought maybe the breakup was just a break all along and still had those feelings for her and didn't want anyone else but Lizzie she stuffed her head into her pillow as she thought mason didn't like her.

Masons pov-I texted Audrey cause she said she was sick last night and I wanted to make sure she was okay I told her I had training but I would go over and check on her,I hated how I had training all the time but I loved football and Audrey but I could have both I would just have to work my way around it,I finally finished training I just wanted to see Audrey so bad she's the only thing on my mind Lately.
I assumed Audrey would still be in her bed so I went to the kitchen quietly so I could put her ice cream I got for her in the freezer as I heard audrey's voice to shut the freezer to see her standing there in black shorts and a white crop top "Audrey shouldn't you be in bed you need to rest come on I'll come up with you let's go darling."I said in a soft tone.

I walk to the kitchen to see mason in my freezer putting are favourite ice cream in the freezer he took time out of his day to think about me
He told me
"I should be in bed"
but I was too warm so I was just about to ask if he wanted to go out on a walk with me when the last word he said to End that sentence was darling?
Did the mason mount just call me Darling my childhood crush my boy best friend?!
Mason stared at me and walked closer and gave me a hug since he wanted to check if I was okay as I was basically questioning my whole life for a moment I said mason? Yes drea he said my nickname that only he called me cause he came up with it I said "mason you called me darling and you've been acting very very sweet to me it's like you but you never call me darling and I was gonna ask if you'd go on a walk with me or me and dec would go out."
Masons face when red we'll I said it by accident drea i can call you that from now on if you like it and I would love to go on a walk with you!

So I stood there and said well let's go then
I started daydreaming again what I was gonna do to tell mase i liked him badly and wanted to know what he thought
I nearly slipped I had my match against Aston  villa against one of my best mates and wasn't too happy I had to go against him
I asked Audrey "hey Audrey tomorrow I'm against Aston villa if you could can you make it so even if I lose I have you there cause deccers can't go and maybe you could even wear my shirt?"
Audrey stoped "mason you want me to
Go to your match? I thought you'd never ask is as gonna support jack if you didn't ask and yes your best friend will wear your shirt"
Thank you Audrey I lifted her up and swung her around

It was match day
Mason was really scared he didn't mind if they lost because it wasn't like the premier league but deep down it would still hurt the match started and mason spotted the girl of his dreams Audrey in the crowd in the family section for Chelsea he was happy she was here even if they don't win

Sadly it was 2-0 Chelsea lost it left me devastated for mason but he can win every other match his head was probably not in the game
He walked into the tunnel with his head town he headed to the changing rooms

AUDREY'S POV
I waited outside and saw someone I hadn't seen in a while I ran over to Christian
"i haven't seen you in ages chrisyy"
"Auddie I've missed you so much it's been so long I have to go but you've got my number we can chat sometime"

It finally came to the time we're mason was last out my heart was breaking for him I got bored of waiting and went in to see mason with a disappointed face
"Mason Tony Mount get over here right this second and give me my hug I deserve."
he got up and looked down and walked over and put his arms around my waist and I hugged him tightly kissing his forehead
"mason you did great stop hating on yourself you did good I was so glad you picked me to watch you play I couldn't sleep last night when all I could think about was I was so Lucky."
"thank you Audrey but I still Did very bad I'm not proud of it."
"Mason believe me I've seen worse your head wasn't in the game what's going on?"
"Audrey my mind and been replaying you every single minute and ever hour Audrey I'm in love with you madly and just want to be able to say your mine and cuddle you and protect you and love you but I know you don't like me back so just tell me you don't like me and I can move on."

Mason wouldn't stop mumbling so I couldn't tell him I liked him so I kissed him so he would shut up he stood there then kissed me.
We didn't say anything and I finally spoke to break the silence
"I'll meet you out in your car in 5"
He nodded and grabbed his bags
I didn't know what was going to happen now he had confessed and I was the kiss taker
I hoped we could start a new chapter instead of starting the ending,

MASON'S POV
I don't know what to think the girl of my dreams just kissed me and I was so shocked she liked me taht I stood there like the dumbass I am I'm meeting her in my car in 5 I hope it's not the ending between us I love her and I don't want to lose her love or friendship
I grabbed my stuff and ran to my car threw my bags in the back seat and said Audrey I want to talk properly when we get back to mine
"Yes that's okay" she said softly her voice was angelic I loved her more than anything but didn't know what to do
