A broken smile (Being Rewritten)

Nightmares

Germanys POV

I wake up, but it's not in my bed as I remember, it's vater's old building/house, I recognize it, I don't know how I got here or how the lights are working, I start walking around hesitantly, I don't like it but I'm curios, to see what, or who, was in the place, I look around everywhere on the first floor and there's nothing, then I slowly make my way up to the second floor.

Once I'm upstairs I see the portrait, I ignore it the best I can and look around up there, trying to see what could be here, again, there's no evidence of anyone being in the building, I continue to look around the second floor some more, just hoping a bit that there was someone in the building, well, other than vater, anyone other than vater will be perfectly fine, I still find nothing, then start to make my way up to the third floor, not happy every step I take, not knowing what to expect when I get up there.

As I go up the stairs it feels like I'm getting smaller, I don't know how or why, but I am, I eventually got all the way upstairs, I look around, and still don't find any evidence of anyone being here, except for a few papers and crayons, in the corner I used to always hide in and draw in when vater would yell at me for seemingly no reason, I look at the pictures, clearly my drawings, I get really confused by this because I took all of my drawings with me after vater died.

I walk away from the pictures and over to the office door, I open it a little bit, and all I see is the back of sowjet (soviet), I get really confused because I haven't seen sowjet in a while, I walk in a little, to see waht is happening, then I see my vater, I freeze up, then I hear what's being said.

"You know you have to surrender!" Sowjet yells at vater, "Never!" vater yells back, I slowly move back towards the door, I know what's coming, and I don't want to see it, "Surrender now or your going to end up dead on your floor!!" sowjet yells, I stop walking, I don't know why I stop walking, I just do, "So you just going to kill me? is that it sowjet?" vater says, sowjet goes quiet, it's quiet for a long moment of time.

After a moment of silence sowjet finally speaks, "If I have to I will third, and I wont feel bad about it" I stand there quietly, not sure if I should leave or if I should stay and see what happens, "Well, I'm not going to surrender anytime soon, so why don't you just kill me now?" vater says, in a bit of a cold tone towards sowjet, I continue to stand there quietly, just watching, then I see sowjet pull out his gun, I know what's going to happen now, and I start to freak out, but I cant move, so I just stand there staring, then all I hear is "BANG!" and I see my vater fall to the floor.

As vater hit the ground everything went dark, I start looking around to see if there was any light at all, I see a small light and walk towards it, as I get closer the world starts to show up more, I see that it's the year after vater died when I'm just starting high school, I look around and don't see anyone I recognize, other than china, he doesn't really know me, but he decided to pick on me just because of who my vater was, he starts walking up to me, I start to panic as he gets closer, I look around to see if japan or italy were around, I don't see them anywhere.

China gets to me and grabs me by my shirt and pulled me close to his face, he seemed pissed, I don't know what I did, I look him in the eyes, he has yellow eyes, they are very pretty, but I don't like the person they belong to, "What? I didn't do anything to you china" I say, clearly just making china more pissed, "What the hell do you mean you didn't do anything?! you know damn well of what you did!" he yells back at me, I really don't know what I did this time to piss him off this bad, "I don't, can you please explain why your yelling at me for no reason?" I calmly say, "oh, so now your going to play dumb?! I thought you were supposed to be the smartest in the grade you ass! You say that your the smartest then when faced with me you act completely dumb?! What the hell is wrong with you?!" he yells, I'm quiet after he yells.

"Well are you going to answer or just stare off into space like a fucking idiot?!!" he yells, I bite my tongue, trying to keep myself from crying, I never said I was the smartest, in fact I think the complete opposite of that, I think I may be one of the dumbest in the grade, everyone else in the grade can goof off during class and still have perfect grades, and I have to work my ass off to keep perfect grades, "I never said I was the smartest in the grade, whoever said I did was lying to you" I tell him, hoping that he'll just let me go, "You think I'm going to believe that goddamn lie?! I'm not that dumb, your always working so damn hard on everything you do! So why wouldn't I believe that you think your the smartest here?! huh?!" he yelled directly into my face, "Because if I thought I was the smartest I probably wouldn't talk to anyone and dedicate my entire life to working on school work, but I don't do that" I calmly respond to him, he looks me dead in the eyes, "Your right, your completely dumb, you don't have a family, you don't have friends, you don't have anything, why don't you just go die or something? It would be a lot easier for everyone if you did" he says, this time not yelling, he lets go of my shirt and walks away.

I think about his words, I know he's right, I start walking home, half way home I sit on a bench and bring my knees up to my chest then put my head down on my knees, starting to cry, I'm glad almost no one ever walks down this road, I don't want anyone to ask any questions about why I'm crying, after a short while on the bench I go home.

Once I got home axel was happy to see me, but noticed I wasn't feeling to happy, I walk upstairs and lock myself in my room alone, I walk over to my desk and open the drawer, I see my pocket knife that I hid in there a while ago, I pick it up, still thinking about the words that china had said to me earlier, I hear axel scratch at the door, I don't open the door even though axel wants me to, I sit on my bed, just holding my knife, I open it, and look at the blade, I start to cry again as china's words get louder in my head.

Everything goes dark as I feel myself being shaken, I open my eyes and see america, he looks worried, I sit up, "What happened?" I ask, he looked at me, still with worry, "You were crying, I got worried, I've been trying to wake you up for a few minuets now, I'm glad your finally awake" he explains, I look at him, a bit worried myself now, "You tried to wake me up for a few minuets and I didn't wake up?" I ask, already knowing the answer, he nods, "What time is it?" I ask another goddamn question, he's probably sick of the questions, "It's almost noon" he says, "damn" I say in response to that, "well, it's better to start the day rather than wait to start it" I say, he nods and we both stand up and start walking downstairs to get food and start the day.
