As the next morning came Naveen's body was sore, he was not sure if it was from being naked in the cold for so long, or from saving the she rogue from the freezing water. His wolf was quick to shake those thoughts away, it agitated him. The urge to stretch out his sore limbs and get a move on back to his pack came to a halt though. His legs had fallen asleep sometime in the middle of the night and was not quite ready to function especially with the she rogue still soundly asleep on top of him. He couldn't help but look at the she rogue with cirouse eyes, he even felt his wolf push to the front to observe as well. Her fur was still slightly wet but her breathing was coming out strong. With each breath she filled her lungs to the fullest before she exhaled. He inspected her closely checking for any cuts or marks he could not see last night in such a haste to get both of them warm.

The same question kept repeating in his head, as he looked her over and it wasn't his wolf asking him the question, It was himself. Why save a rogue? He was a killer of these soulless monsters rather it be male or female. He knew she had to have done something terrible in her old pack to be casted out and left to the wild side. Naveen wrinkled his nose up in disgust at the thought of disrespect or violence this rogue had to cause to be like this. The little pity he had for her now long gone. Embarrassment took over his body like a warm blanket. None of his packmates shall ever know of his stupidity of saving a rogue from death.

The she rogue no doubtably felt the air shift around her, as her ears twitched before her eye snapped open and her head was swing in his direction causing both their eyes to clash. Green to gold-brown, He watched intently as she blinked the tiredness away. He saw no story to be told by her eyes, only his broad outline looked back at him through her eyes.

He could feel her demeanor go on alert, he practically could hear her heart beating out of her chest at this point, yet she looked so calm. In any other situation he would think she was challenging him to hold such intense eye contact for so long, but the way her head slanted to the side stopped him. The she rogue looked like she was saying thank you in her own soulless way. She jumped off his lap and stretched, her nails slightly diging into the dirt as she stood back to her full small height before grooming herself, licking the remainder of the water from her fur. Naveen sat still, just sighlintly watching with his wolf side.

The slight breeze from the opening of the cave tickled his bare chest, causing him to shiver and  look away. The blizzard had finally passed with the sun out and the snow now covering any evidence of their last night struggles. The birds in the trees were restless to their chirping, signalling his first thoughts to be right, it was time to head home. Wiggling his toes awake, a small pain shot up one of his legs, causing a grunt of protest. his ankle was a light purple and blue. He knew getting home would be a slow walk back as a wolf, but even slower in human form naked in thigh high snow.

He got up causing the she rogue to look at him, she to stood up. Naveen closed his eyes and in one exhale he sank into his body, his body complying with his wolf side to change skins. The burning sensation of melting his human form away while hair was quick to sprout over breaking bones, it was a feeling he could never explain. But in human words It was anger and peace mixed together.

Once the sting of the change was gone he opened his eyes to be welcomed to the she rogue, centimeters from his wolfs snout. Her eyes dilated, ears straight up and facing him. Trying to catch any sound or moment from his wolf. He tried to growl low to back her off, but she just yelped in excitement, span around fast kicking up rocks before darting out the cave opening.

Leaving him confused.
