Dream of Danger

CHAPTER 1: Midnight Stroll

Waking up in bed as the moon shines all over my room I decided to go for a fly wanting to spread out my wings, getting my long white dress on, and going through my window looking down the 5 story mansion my parents got from my grandparents, I jump letting my black golden wings spread glistening with the full moon shining on them, I fly up to my mountain that I protect with it's beautiful yet fragile animals. As I fly up I land on a cliff as the wind dances through the trees feeling at peace looking over the town I've known for two thousand years. As I stare into the distance as one of the wolf pups comes and nuzzles against my leg almost knocking me over, "hehe hey red what you doing up it's too early for you to be out of mum's cave" I said to the tiny pup of lunas litter. "I couldn't sleep raven and I say you flying me am wondering the same thing about you," I pick up the little red wolf pup and hold him "I couldn't sleep either my wings needed to stretch since my parents don't like me doing it in the house remember they are no mags and I have magic."  I sigh wishing my family would understand what it's like, as I was thinking reds mother luna came behind me " raven have you seen red he's not in the cave he couldn't sleep yesterday cause the coyotes were howling at the full moon last night," I sigh hearing this Rufus is the Alpha of the coyotes and he knew to stay away from the pups den at night. "I'm sorry luna I'll talk to Rufus about howling near the pup's den" I look down at red asleep in my arms and turns around to luna showing her littlest pup asleep. So we walk back to the pup's den putting red back with his brother tiger and kisses his forehead. "I'll go to Rufus and talk to him luna sleep well," I pet her head as she goes back to her pups and she falls asleep. I start to walk to the coyotes' side of the mountain looking around at the peaceful night and accidentally bump into naria the bear" oof sorry naria I didn't see you there" she shakes her head "it's alright Raven sorry was taking a night stroll I couldn't sleep one of rufus sons were howling" I laugh "it seems like your not the only one that got woken up from them red was awake and came to me" she shakes her head "are you going over to the coyotes to talk to them I think the beavers are going there to talk to them" I nod and pets her head and keep on walking finally getting to the coyotes to find all of them awake and running around like children hyper on sugar I shake my head at the sight. I walk to see Rufus on a large rock looking over his pack and he hears me " Raven hello what brings you to us?" I wave to him "Rufus, Rogan was howling near the wolf pups dean and woke up red and naria I thought I told you to go to the south side of the mountain to howls, not the north." Rufus lowers his head "I'm sorry Raven I didn't know that had happened I will remind him to go to the south side to howl with his friends." I nod my head agreeing and kisses his head and start to walk towards the edge to fly back to my room since getting sleepy. I get to my room and get into bed under my sheets and start to fall asleep dreaming yet again about the 5 men still not being able to see their faces. I wonder who they are it's been 3 years since they started the dreams about them.
