CHAPTER 6:Sea Port

The sea gets rough but the captain is close to the port that they will wait at for the storm to pass. Raven starts to move around with a scared face, she is having a nightmare where the towns folk found out about her magic and is gathering with torches and weapons surrounding her cursing at her. Jack hears this and gets up and holds her trying to wake her up from the terrifying nightmare. "Shhh Raven it's okay just a nightmare wake up okay?" He holds her tight rubbing her hair soothing her but she still doesn't wake up. "No please don't hurt me," Raven says scared, Jack starts to get worried about her hearing her say this. He starts to shake her gently and then she wakes up sweating and scared, she clings to Jack as he smooths her hair.

"It's okay Raven I got you, your safe okay?" She nods still clung to Jack. They lay there for an hour till the boats engine stops they both look at each other and wonder if they made it to the port. They get up and head to the captain. " Jerry are we at the port?" Jack asks holding raven on the side her being still bit shaken from her nightmare. "Yea we are in the port about to dock." We look out the window and see beautiful port.

"It will be probably 4 hours till the storm passes and the local port master is letting us stay," says Jerry docking the yacht. Me and jack nod and then I heard my father speak "4 hours? That's a long time and we need to get back to sea to the first island." Then my father sees jack holding me still, "why are you holding my daughter cook get your hands off her!" I get startled and jump and move away from jack so he doesn't get my fathers wrath. "Father let's see where mother is okay?" I get my father out of the room away from jack and Jerry and to my mother. We get to my mother on the top deck looking over the port. "It's beautiful isn't mum we should explore a bit." I say, side hugging her. As raven talks to her mum jack watches from out the top window with Jerry, " you care for the girl don't you lad?" Jack nods and then goes back to his small room. Up top raven and her mum walls on the board walk looking around at the small Japanese shops. We found a small jewelry shop and look around. Raven stops something catching her eye.

A beautiful old lockey with golden chain. She feels a pull to it making her wings tingle. "You found something darling?" Raven nods and points to the locket, Raven whispers to her mother "mum I feel a pull to it, it's making my wings tingle what does that mean mum? "  Regina didn't know much about her Oldest daughters magic. "Maybe it's a sign you should get it darling." Mother and daughter both agree and bring it to the owner. "Kon'nichiwa kore o kaitaidesu, " ( hello I would like to buy this) the owner was an old lady.

She bows her head and says " Utsukushī gētokīpā ni saiteki (good choice for beautiful gatekeeper) That made me shocked how did she know. " Dōshite shitte imasu ka?"(how do you know?) " Ōra no gētokīpā ga miemas" (I see Aura gatekeeper) "Nekkuresu wa furui monban no monodesu" (necklace belong to old gatekeeper) "Sore wa anata no monodesu" (it yours) she gives Raven the locket of no charge. Raven and her mum bows but before they leave the owner runs to Raven wanting her to put necklace on before leaving store. As the owner put the locket around Ravens neck a glow comes from the necklace and a gold shadow of wings form from Ravens back making her eyes glow bright purple and golden streaks.

Raven gasps and looks at the owner. " Utsukushī tenshi" (beautiful Angel) the owner pats her cheek and goes into the back leaving the daughter and mother in shock of what just happened. They go back to the yacht and Raven goes to her room shaking, as she walks back jack spots her making sure her father isn't around and goes to knock on her forehead to see her walking towards him shaking terrified. "Raven are you okay?" Jack goes to her and holds her walking back to her room, he sits her down and puts her blankets on her and starts to walk away but she grabs his hand still shaking "please stay" she says whispering. Jack does and lays down next to Raven and let's her lay on his chest shaking at what the owner said and what the locket did. Jack notices the necklace and picks it up gently, "beautiful necklace did you get it from shop near the peer?" Raven nods and nuzzles her neck into his neck tired from the necklace magic. "Get see sleep kotenok(kitten) " he kisses her forehead holding her tight. Raven falls asleep on his chest and her breathing slows down peacefully.
