Chap 7

"Hey Yoongi. You okay? What happened?" Jungkook walks to Yoongi in the big garden. Stretching his arms, he takes in a deep breath. "Wooah today's weather is good."

"Are you feeling dizzy?"

"Hmm? Me?" Jungkook turns to Yoongi staring at him stupidly. "Nope. I'm as fresh as usual. Just the thing is..I don't remember anything from last night." He whistles happily and walks around looking at the beautiful flowers.

"You still going to meet Jimin?" The question suddenly gives chills down his spine. He looks at Yoongi and nods " I will go. I came here for him. So obviously I'll be going."

Yoongi didn't seem to be pleased with that answer. He just nods and continues with his work of shaping the small plants.

Jungkook knocks at Jimin's door. "Jimin shiii? It's me Jungkook." He knocks again. But gets no response. Turning the latch of the door, he finds the door open. "Hmm? It's open?" He slowly walks inside the house.

It's a very small house. Barely a room fits in. It has a small backyard with beautiful small flowers. Even the house being so small, it's well maintained and clean. He smiles looking at the pictures hanging from the wall. "He looked more cute whe he was a kid."

"WHO ARE YOU?" the sudden approach to Jungkook, makes him startle and immediately look back. "It's me."

"Oh? The same boy?" Jimin says putting some plastic bags on the table.

"Jungkook. It's Jeon Jungkook."

"Oh yeah right. I forgot. What brings you here?" Jimin smiles putting the groceries in their places.

"Nothing. It's just..I don't know anyone out here..so I thought why not come to you and get to know about this place. I'm sorry if I'm disturbing you." Jungkook gently sits on the chair.

"Oh n-no it's all fine. You're not disturbing me. Actually...grand people like you never visits in a house like this without any reason that's why..I was just confused. Want some tea?"

"Yeah sure I like tea." Jungkook nods with a warm smile. Folding his sleeves up to his elbows, he puts them on the table staring at Jimin with his face on his palms as Jimin continues working.

"Do you live- " Jimin's sentence remains unfinished as he turns to Jungkook. His face turns red staring at Jungkook. The way Jungkook is staring at him makes him blush even more. Clearing his throat, he keeps the two cups of tea on the tabel.

"Thank you." Jungkook scoffs and takes a cup of tea to him. "You live alone?"

"Yea I live alone. How about you? I think you must have a very rich family." Jimin looks at his cup of tea and takes a small sip from it.

"Nope. Umm kind off I guess. I stay with my brothers."

"Yoongi is your brother?" Jimin stops sipping and looks at him.

"You- you know Yoongi?"

"Yeah I do. We don't have a good past to recall. So yeah anyways. How is the tea?"

"Oh- it's good." Jungkook was about to say something more, but stops and focuses on drinking instead. "Shall we go out together?"

"Sounds good. It's a weekend. So no work." Jimin nods smiling warmly.

"That's great~" He chuckles and continues drinking the tea.
"Shall I help with it?" Jungkook takes the dishes from Jimin's hand and starts washing them up.

"Oh? It's not needed I'm fine."

"Oh c'mon these are nothing." He chuckles. He was focused on washing the dishes when he realises Jimin is staring at him. "Hmm? What's the stare for?"

"Umm-umm" Jimin stammers for getting caught. "Nothing." He turns around. "But...you said I resemble to someone. Who is it?"

Jungkook stops at his work and looks at Jimin for once. His eyes gets teary. Clearing his throat he continues working. "He...umm..he was the love of my life. He was ready to give up his life just because of me. He was everything to me. But...I couldn't save him." He sighs.

"Did he die?"

"Yes he did."

"Ohh I'm so sorry."

Jungkook suddenly feels a pair of hands around Jungkook's waist and a head leaning on his back. He stops at his works. He can clearly feel how fast his heart is beating.

"I lost my parents at a very young age. I can understand."

Jungkook hears sniffing sound after Jimin's words. He turns around and looking at Jimin's teary eyes he hugs him tightly. "No don't cry. I won't let anything happen to you this time I promise. I'll protect you with everything I have." Jungkook pecks on Jimin's head and hugs him more tightly.

He missed this warm hug.
