I was just locking the store door and heading towards the bus stop, putting on my jacket, when someone called out my name. Scared and curious, I turned around and immediately, my heart stopped. It was my roommate and crush. My tall, caring, basketball-playing crush. Wearing her team jacket, a sports bra, and her sweatpants. "I didn't know you worked here but umm...why are you just now leaving?", she said, looking at her watch. I explained to her that everyone had left early so I had to stay behind to clean up and lock up while walking towards the bus stop. Instantly, she was against it.

"Uh uh. It is freezing out here and the bus won't be here for another 30 minutes. Get in the car. I'll drive you to our apartment dorm"

I wanted to but I instantly thought about what people might say if they saw me in a car with her and what they might think so I declined and turned back around towards the street. I thought she gave up and got in her car because I heard nothing but suddenly, I was picked up from my legs, thrown over her shoulder, and placed in the passenger seat of her car, all while laughing but protesting.

Once we arrived, I sprinted towards the apartment dorm to get out of these greasy clothes, forgetting my phone and crush in the car. Grabbing everything I needed, I went into the bathroom and placed everything down, turning on the water. As if on cue, there was a knock on the door. "Aye, you forgot your phone in the car. Also, I have to shower too"

Yea, our college installed a second shower in every apartment dorm 2 weeks ago. Surprising, I know. Anyways, I put on my robe and cracked the door, grabbing my phone from her hands and turning on my music while she walked in with her towel. Slowly, she started taking off her jacket and sweatpants and mann, was it a sight. Instantly, I looked away and stepped in the shower, taking off my robe once I stepped in. There was no way she was going to see my naked body although I wouldn't mind if she did. Wait, no. You're just her roommate. She probably doesn't even like you like that.

"Aye yo, can we talk about something?", she said, walking in my room after her shower, with a sports bra on with shorts, still a little wet and dripping. I swear this girl is gonna be the death of me. I shook that thought and just nodded my head, having her walk in and sit on my bed. Immediately she just stared at me, making me very nervous. "I'm gonna need you to be real with me and not cap..wassup with your lock screen? Why that picture?"

I froze. I totally forgot all about that. My lock screen was a picture of her that I secretly screenshot from Snapchat. HOW COULD I FORGET ABOUT THAT?!? Instantly, I said the first thing that came out of my mouth. "Umm... I did that just in case a girl wanted to see you, I would show her and give her your number if she was interested", holding back the hurt in my voice. She just looked at me, expressionless. "No other reason, right?" I nodded while getting on my phone and started reading a book, trying to have her leave so I can't suffer anymore. Instantly, she scooted closer and slowly placed my phone down, looking at me straight in the eye. Fuck. She then asked me if any girls were interested and I was quickly hurt but I lied so..yea. I grabbed my phone again, looked for this girl I knew liked her and I hated, gave her the username, and scooted her out the door. She wanted to say something but I closed the door before she could. Instantly my tears fell so I just laid down on my bed and started listening to my playlist. Unfortunately for me, I forgot she had a key so 2 minutes later, she's opening my door and sitting back on my bed. Just pretend you're okay and she'll leave. You got this.
