You sighed as you stretched out. It was time for lunch so you walked out of your cabin. Staffs greeted as you made your way towards the canteen. You always didn't had your lunch there but when there was too much work and you felt lazy, you used to go to office canteen instead of somewhere else. You decided to sit at the corner. Even though you held a high potison you liked to have your lunch alone and your staffs were well aware of that.
"Isn't she the boss's wife? It's my first time seeing her. She looks so cool" you heard one of the girl saying. There was a group of them sitting nearby you. You smiled to yourself as she praised but soon it faded out as you continued to hear them talking. You know it was wrong to eavesdrop but it was also wrong of them to bad mouth about you like that.
"She may be cool, beautiful, a woman with intelligence but what's the use of it all when her husband still seeks for another woman instead of her." One of them said cockily and for you it was not something new yet it made your blood boil. "What do you mean by that?"the girl who was probably new to the company asked.
"I forgot you have joined today so how are you supposed to know. Let me tell you whole staff knows that our boss Hoseok is having an affair with his secretary and is cheating on his wife.In starting I used to pity her but now I think of it she seems so fine yet her husband didn't choose her, which means she is not that good." When you heard these all you couldn't help and left that place. You went out as you were in desperate need of fresh air. You decided to stop by a cafe and have some coffee to get over your headache which was occurring with lots of thoughts running in your mind.
It was true that you loved Hoseok. You knew him since college, he always seemed a happy go lucky guy, always smiling, he was a litreal angel in your eyes. You had a crush on him though you never paid much attention to it and focused on your studies. Things changed when Hoseok's father asked your hand in marriage from your dad with him asking your dad to invest in his business. Your dad saw it as a great opportunity the business he had was small but still he was contempt but seeing your future getting secured was more than anything to him.
Though when you got married to Hoseok and as the years passed, slowly you started to know him truly. Before marriage during your dates he had clarified that he had no feelings towards you and he can't act as a husband towards you behind the closed doors. You were hurt but you were happy that atleast he had accepted you as a friend if not wife. Though as years passed it seemed he just saw you as a perfect wife material to show to the world. You did office work, manged house, attended parties for him and he just ordered you around. It took a long time to realise you that you had lost your freedom and now you were just a supressed, meek wife to your husband.
