Epilogue
You looked at the calendar finally it was the day. The day when your 18 months contract was gonna end. You wished for this day not to come but even you knew happy days pass on fast and just like that good days with Namjoon were coming to an end today. Pushing all these thoughts aside you decided to take some fresh air outside. In the process of getting up, you knocked the photo frame of yours, Namjoon and Youra. You immediately picked it up placed it on your study table.
You liked how you all looked like a real family in that and not only looked like you all even behaved like a real family, even Youra had started to call Namjoon her Dad you had stopped her but Namjoon said it was ok. He was everything one can ask for. He was a person who can make anyone fall in love with him, he had such a personality. So, who were you not to fall for him. During this span of living with him as you knew him more and more, you started to fall for him, and when you realized it was too late. First, you were scared to accept that you loved him because you had a taste of it with Hoseok but deep down you knew Namjoon was not him and eventually you let yourself fall in love with him completely.
You wanted to ask him if you both can continue this, continue being together, continue being family but couldn't bring yourself to ask him this. Even though you wanted to be with him forever, wanted to spend your whole life with him what if he didn't want to do so. He had just married you to help you out, it was not out of love. You always thought he must be seeing it as some charity work which made you always take your steps back in telling him about you feel.
You didn't know why even though you thought so his one smile was enough to make you feel contempt and make your heart flutter. And to see him always smiling you decided not to tell him a word how you feel because you were scared that it may ruin your current relationship but at least doing so you would be in touch with him.
You hear the doorbell ring and immediately go downstairs to open it. As soon as you open it you couldn't help but laugh though you try to suppress it and let the man come inside. "If you want you can laugh, meanwhile you do so I will go and get changed. I have an important meeting to attend" You nod as he disappears into his room. You really found him cute all soaked just like a cute puppy, his wet hair all up. These days Namjoon was pretty busy as he had taken over his father's company though he still tried his best to spend time with you and youra and you were more than grateful for it.
You were about to leave when his phone kept on the table started to ring. You ignored it but it kept ringing so you shouted and called out for Namjoon saying it seemed an important call and he asked you to pick it for him. You looked at the caller Id it said "Yoonki" you immediately recognized who it was. It was Min yoongi his best friend. Not thinking much you picked it up. You were about to say hello but Yoongi spoke before you and after what he said you became totally speechless.
"Dude, are you even listening? I don't care if you're or not but it's my duty to explain it to you as a friend because I can't see you suffer more. I am telling you this is your last chance just go and already confess to her. You have loved her since college, it's the last day of your contract just go and do it. Don't think about rejection she is no more married. And even if she rejects you at least you would feel light that you didn't act like a coward. Just go to Y/N and tell her how you feel" Yoongi kept going on from the other side and when he stopped and took a long breath to speak more you hung up before he can continue.
You didn't understand how to react to this newfound information with you. You were happy knowing that Namjoon also had feelings for you but also knowing that he was not planning to confess even though he liked you for a long time, you decided to take matters into your hands now. As you were planning how would you bring it up in front of your husband you heard him coming and asking who it was on the call.
You turned around and gave him a smile. He was putting on his watch and when he looked up he found you smiling. He brushed past your shoulder to grab something and asked chuckling " You look happy Y/N. Did something amusing happen or did you finally get the news that Youra and Jungkook are returning from their trip?" You got a bit close to him and folding your arms and smirking you kept looking at him which made him smile too. "Come on Y/N tell me what made you so happy and stop smirking like that" Saying that he picked up his working bag and was about to leave when you pulled him by his arm and caught him off guard.
"Any problem?" He asked turning around, tilting his head. You couldn't keep anymore flirting with him seeing how cute he was looking and behaving. So you decided to drop it and go straightforward with him. You took his hand in yours and brushed your thumb over his ring finger where at current he was wearing the fake marriage ring. "Namjoon, I know how you feel and I want to tell you I feel the same. And I want us to be real. I know for sure you're not gonna hurt me and I promise you I won't let my past affect you or our future."
"Y/N you....but how....how? Is this for real?" He couldn't believe that it was really happening. His heart was beating so fast with your hand in his that it felt it can pop out at any moment. He was still doubtful so to confirm it he did the first thing which came to his mind. He started slapping himself to see if he was dreaming or not. You immediately stopped him pulling his hands away from him and grabbing it tightly. "What are you doing? Stop hitting yourself and accept it.Afterall anyone of us had to make the first step so I did"
It seemed those words had no effect on him as tears rolled down his cheeks. He was saying something but his sobs and hiccup made it hard for you to understand. Seeing a composed, grown up man crying just for you because you just accepted his feelings. You would have never imagined him in this state but you knew his tears of happiness. You looked at his tear filled eyes and pulled him for a hug, rubbing his back while his tears soaking your shirt. Even though you didn't get what he was saying but still each word coming out from his mouth made you feel loved. Today you really had become Mrs.Kim Namjoon.
