Strange Falls Asylum and Museum of Psychological/Psychiatric History first opened in it's capacity as a renovated museum and convention center July 7th, 1977. Completely restored upon the foundations of the century old Strange Fall's State Asylum for the Mentally Handicapped and Insane, the Museum is celebrating it's 37th anniversary this year...
The Asylum rests upon the magnolia studded acres of rolling hills that rise out of the vast expanses of Magnolia Wood; the State Park is the preserve of a rare species of magnolia tree that only grows in this part of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The museum is a sprawling example of Kirkbride architecture, the various wards and administration buildings all possessed of long, wide hallways erected across lush lawns and meticulously maintained grounds...

Wireless Restored: After nearly a month of near constant computer glitches, ATM machine malfunctions, cash register fails and digital phone access denied, Charter/Time Communications has finally declared victory in its weeks long battle with Strange Fall's infected wireless network. Technical Representative of CTC, Robert Easton is on record as having explained: "It's like nothing we've ever seen before, kind of like an air borne pathogen that infects wireless devices.
