Today was the day. Today was the day I told Marinette how I feel about her. I've been in love with her since the day I met her. I hope she feels the same way I do. I love her so much.
Hopefully, this confession doesn't ruin our friendship. I don't know what I would do if I lost her...
I sat at my desk love letter in hand ready to give it to the girl I love. When she walked in she was talking to Alya. I was so nervous I just ran and put the letter on Marinette's desk and ran back to mine. She sat at her desk and read it since it was the first thing she noticed.
She looked back at me sadly.
This made my heart drop to my stomach. "I messed up...she hates me."
{Time skip}
Marinette asked to meet in the girl's bathroom. I'm so damn nervous. I was waiting for her.
When she came in she looked really upset.
"(Y/N)...I...don't know what to say." She looked at the ground. "I like you but just as a friend. I'm so sorry. Plus I love Adrien."
My heart broke...but I understood. I was only a friend.
I smiled. "Okay. That's fine Marinette. I'm just glad you were honest with me."
This hurt but...she wasn't into me. I need to accept that. Although I really don't want to.
I went home and went straight to my room. I didn't want to see or talk to anyone else for the rest of the day and night. I could even eat dinner that night. I got messages from Nino and Julika asking if I was okay...I didn't answer them.
