George was immediately sent to his room for the rest of the day, but the next he wanted to go see one of his friends that lived in the town. She ran a bakery where he would disguise himself and help her out once in a while. He knocked on the door and one of the friendly guards opened it. "Do you need something, Your Highness?" He signs.
"I would like to go to the town to see Niki and help her around with the bakery."
"You know I-"
"I'll bring back pastries for you and your friends."
He hesitates for a moment, then he sighs, "Fine, but don't mention this to anyone."
George gives him a thumbs up, "don't worry, I'll be careful." George turns back to his room and changes into different clothes, like this he won't be recognized as easily. He grabs his cloak and opens the door again, "thank you again, Callahan."
Callahan nods and ushers George on his way.
George snuck out of the castle successfully and walked through the town, waving to the townsfolk that recognized him. He walked past the flower shop that Niki's friend owned, her name was Minx. She and Niki were really close friends, sometimes she would bring blooming flowers that no one would buy over to the bakery to decorate it and pastries with.
He finally made it to the bakery and waved to Niki who was helping a customer. She waves back causing the customer to turn and wave to him as well. He waves back to not be disrespectful and goes behind the counter to put on an apron.
George takes off his cloak and hangs it up on a small hook next to Niki's coat. He walks back out and goes to chat up the next customer in line while Niki continues to make the pastries.
A couple of minutes later when no one was in the bakery except the two, Niki started a conversation, "how's Phil doing?" She asks, George hangs his head silent for a few moments, "he's going to be executed because of me."
"...what?" Niki whispers in shock after a few moments of silence. George nods his head in sorrow, "I got caught outside my chambers with Philza and my Father punished me for it by having a public execution for Phil. I guess he got too tired of me sneaking out and doing what 'isn't good' for the throne."
"It's not your fault George."
"But it is! I should have just stayed in my room that night, if I had none of this would have happened. I should have just followed his rules and did what he said so no one would get hurt."
"He would have caught you eventually if you went out there every night, plus, who knew that the King would go this far?"
"I'm sorry, it's just been very stressful lately. I haven't been sleeping great either."
Niki gives George a side hug, "why don't you take a break for a minute or two," she says while holding out a small piece of bread.
"Thank you, Niki," George says, going into the small room where his cloak was hanging and sitting down on a lone chair in the corner. He takes a bite of the bread and tries to get it out of his head by focusing on other things, but instead, he zones out for a good while.

He gets pulled out of his thoughts when the bread almost falls out of his hand. He quickly finishes it and takes a deep breath before going out the door to where Niki was. He sees a purple-haired person leaning onto the counter conversing with Niki, the woman turns her head towards him, "what's up, George?"
