"George, who set it on fire?" Dream asks, George's nervousness was starting to make him even more anxious. He looks over to the shield, getting up and walking over to it. He picks it up and holds it out to Dream who had followed him. Dream tenses, seeing the logo on the shield to be part of the Athesia guard.

"They're looking for me," George whispers, he puts the shield back down where he found it. Dream wraps an arm around the brunet's shoulder trying to comfort him. "I have to go back."

"What?" Dream says in shock. "You can't go back, you just got here." Water dripped down the both of them from the rain.

"I know, but if they keep destroying things and hurting innocent people it would be my fault," he argues, as he looks up at Dream.

"Then take me along, I will keep you safe and help you with your father."

George shakes his head with a small grateful smile on his face. "I'm sorry, but I don't want you to get hurt."

The rain started to slow down, but a small crowd watched the two with interest. However, Philza shoved them away to go scavenge the burnt buildings.

"I don't want you to get hurt either, George," Dream says softly, putting both his hands on the sides of George's face. George reciprocates his movements, looking into the black dots of Dream's mask for permission. Dream nods and George pulls up the mask to where it laid on top of his head. George's eyes were closed as he put his hands on Dream's cheeks. Dream leaned down and put his forehead against George's.

George's breath falters a bit, he could feel his heart beating rapidly in his chest. Dream wipes his thumb across George's face that was wet from the rain. Dream chuckles when he sees George's eyes twitch from the curiosity picking at him. "You can open your eyes you know, I don't bite."

"I don't know Dream, you seem a bit too eager."

"Just shut up and open your eyes you dumbass," Dream says,

George could hear Dream roll his eyes. "You still have your eyes closed?"

"Why not?" George whispers as he grins because he knows he's annoying Dream.

"Come on, George," He whines, dragging out his words.

"Fine, I'll open them," George says, slowly opening them and quickly putting down Dream's mask in a quick motion. Dream throws his hands up in friendly annoyance and George laughs in return as they part away.

"Let's go back and see if we can find our things in the wreckage," Dream says, and he goes behind George and puts his arms on George's shoulders. George leans his head back and it softly hits Dream's chest. "I don't want to though," George grumbles, "can't you just do it for me?"

Dream scoffs, "fine," he lets his arms drop and he wraps one around George's waist to help him walk, "this is only because you hurt yourself."

They walk back over to where they were before and Dream helps George sit down next to them. He then goes back over to the smoking buildings that were put out with the pouring rain. George turns to the two teens with worry in his eyes, "are you both okay?"

They both nod and Tommy says, "I'm just a bit cold."

"Same here," Ranboo comments.

George hums in acknowledgment and takes off Dream's coat, leaving him with a wet coat and shirt. He sighs and lays back on the grass. "You didn't give me time to rewrap your leg, George," Niki says as she scoots over to his leg. George grumbles under his breath, "I swear if you put alcohol on it again, I won't forgive you."

Niki laughs loudly, "I don't need you to forgive me, George. Just thank me later will you?"

Tommy looks away with his face scrunched up when Niki starts to peel the wet bandages away but Ranboo watches, looking away once in a while to compose himself.
