Chapter 14

Sam POV

I wake up right on time nice and early... At night. I dress myself in my normal attire and notice Red in the Police girl's room. That would means she's waking soon. I stand outside my door and lean against the wall. About 20 minutes later I heard a small yelp from her, she and Red are talking. I sensed Walter and Integra walking down the stairs to this hall.

"Sam, care to come in with us?"

Walter asked he was about to pass me

"Well, I don't see much point in been here for ages."

Integra smirked at my answer and made me walk behind Walter and in front of her. Walter opened the door and we walked in she looked shocked. I leaned against the wall and wait for my turn to introduce myself, Walter started his mini introduction now its my turn.

"Hey, I'm Sam nice ta meet ya."

Very original not much sparkle but basic enough for me. Integra introduced herself next. Then said what I knew was coming.

"Once your ready Sam will take you to the shooting range"

At that everyone left the girl minus Red and me.

"I'll wait outside, don't keep me waiting too long."

I used a cold tone of voice and almost seen her flinch. I closed the door behind me walked up a few steps then leaned against the wall again. I waited a while, sensed Red leave and Searas start to move around probably getting changed. She soon exited the room and stood before me, I look her up and down and find myself assessing her. Why was I assessing her? I knew her. Oh well... I start walking to the training grounds with her following me. When I open the door a few men look in my direction but that changes to a stare when Searas walks, they were probably checking out her figure. She stood there blushing slightly, seriously blushing. I would make a scene but who could be screwed. So I just clear my throat she quickly pays attention why the men look away quickly almost embarrassed.
"Pick a gun that you feel comfortable with then go ahead and shoot a target."
She nods at me and walks over to the rack full of guns looking deep in thought. One man walks up to her and hands her a gun that was more than manageable for her vampire strength, she gets ready to take a shot, when it fires I already know its not a full blown bullseye but its close enough to kill a vampire. She kept shooting but only the heart area so I decided to make her progress,
"Go for a headshot."
She looked at me but complied. I noticed Red quietly watching for a while now but felt no need to do anything. After Seras took a few more shots Integra walked in along with Walter. After making her take a few more shots I read Integra's thoughts and I got annoyed. She planned to test Seras hand to hand combat abilities but she was to have a real opponent, me.
"Police girl, I want to test your hand to hand combat now."
Hinting for everyone to follow her Integra walked into a side room that was basically made for combat, just not shooting. The dummies were neatly against a wall leaving space for a spar. Integra walked over to me and spoke low,
"Spar with her, hand to hand. This is a test of her abilities so go normal vampire strength."
With that she let me walk over to Seras,
"Your opponent will be me."
With a flick of my head hinting her to walk into the middle of the space with me we stood facing each other,
"You attack first off, then we'll switch to defense."
I forgot she didn't know I was a vampire... Ah well she'll find out soon enough. She hesitated before directly running at me and throwing a first which I blocked with my hand. She soon got used to this fighting style and attacked from directions using her vampiric strength and speed, though I used my arms and legs to block all attacks. After looking at Integra I signal for her to stop,
"Defense."
Was all I said before taking a step forwards the running to her side in a bunch of sidesteps, I hit her in the side while she was unbalanced from the speed attack I kicked feet out from her as she was falling I grabbed her arm pulled her onto her feet then stepped back and ran again. Things continued like that for awhile her blocking getting better. I looked at Integra and seen her nod,
"That's enough for now Police girl."
I say as I walk back to face Integra, Seras following looking tired. I wasn't all that tired but more too lazy, I just wanted to lye down and sleep. Why the hell am I so lazy?!
"Sam, lead Police girl back to her room."
"Kay."
With that I start walking back through the training grounds, Seras following me.
"With more training you'll get really good at combat and shooting."
She seemed surprised at the compliment,
"T-Thanks, would you help me train in the f-future?"
"Yea, training is good for the both of us, say why you stutterin' round me?"
"U-Uh... Sorry."
"Eh? Well just try to stop it, I'm not goin' to bite."
We continued the walk in silence until we reached her room she walked in and turned around,
"Thanks, Sam."
"No problem, by the way my rooms right next to yours."
"You sleep down here?!"
"Yep, your not the only one the Red ass turned."
I flick a grin so she could see my fangs. Her face was filled of surprise and something that made her seem less lonely.
"Who are you to call your master an ass Silver?"
"Huh, Red?"
Red stood in the hall grinning, and slightly annoyed,
"What? Never been called a ass before?"
"Not the point."
"Then what you complain' about?"
Now I was just out to piss him off for no apparent reason. Seras was shooting nervous looks between us before speaking,
"Uh, well I'm going to sleep now."
She spoke flustered I had to hold in a laugh,
"Well night then Police girl."
I shoot another toothy grin at her, while Red disappears through a wall I recognize as my own rooms wall. She shuts the door and I walk to my room opening the door to reveal non other than Red sitting on my bed.
