Chapter 3

A/N- There is no time limit on the transformations

The ride to Mount Justice was interesting. Going into the invisible jet was like a dream come true for Chat Noir and Ladybug. Well, Chat Noir was the only one who showed it. He was bouncing up and down in his seat, his cat ears twitching with every noise. With Ladybug you would never notice her excitement if it wasn't for her wings fluttering every now and then.

"Sooo how did you guys get here so quickly?" Ladybug asks drawing out the o's and thickening her strange accent. Wonder Woman turns to her with a proud smile "I felt you activate the Ladybug Miraculous. My mother was once a holder, and with Tikki's help they sculpted me from clay, My soul and the Miraculous of Creation are connected."

Ladybug nods her head in understanding as Chat Noir stares in shock. "You were made of clay?!?" He exclaims staring at Wonder Woman as if she will fall apart at any second, and he kind of expects her to, she is made of clay, after all, Ladybug laughs shoulders relaxing slightly. The rest of the ride was quiet, both teens having so many thoughts going through their heads, trying to calm their nerves.

Once landing at Mount Justice they are welcomed by the sight of other young heroes, some bouncing off the walls, others hovering in the hair, and some just standing in power poses. Once the jet lands the Miraculous users follow the adults out to meet the others. "Welcome to Mount Justice, where young heroes of the world come to train and learn together." Superman proudly says as he leads Chat Noir and Ladybug to the other heroes. "Our oldest members are Nightwing, Artemis, Kid-Flash, Batgirl, Red Arrow, and Aqualad" each hero waves or nods in acknowledgment.

Batman continues for Superman "and our younger members, which are your age are Robin, Superboy, Impulse,  Wonder Girl and Spoiler, we have three other members who stop by every once in a while but never stay for long, that's Red Hood, Arsenal, and Starfire. I can't guarantee you'll ever meet them". Again the heroes give some form of acknowledgment.

Wonder Woman steps forward and rests a hand on Ladybug and Chat Noir's shoulders pushing them towards the heroes their age. "Meet Ladybug and Chat Noir". Chat Noir bounces to the others while Ladybug stays close to him doesn't look as bubbly or kind, more neutral than anything. Shoulders relaxed and face stern she looks each of them up and down before letting out a quiet smile and nods her head in acknowledgment.

"Well, we will let you all get acquainted with each other while we set up zeta tubs in Paris for easier transportation." Both teams of older heroes walk away leaving the preteens to get to know each other.

Implus bounces up and down in excitement "Hey it's crash to meet you! I'm Implus" the red speedster says as he shakes Chat Noir's hand. "names Chat Noir! It's nice to meet you too!" His thick French accent coming through. Chat Noir bounces to each of the other teens to shake their hands his tail swaying back and forth and ears twitching with excitement. He pauses after a moment "Oh yeah!" turning to Ladybug with an award-winning smile "Time for an official introduction, I'm Chat Noir, I can't wait to work with you!".

Before Ladybug could respond Robin jumps in "Wait you guys are just meeting today?" his mask raising slightly, the only indication of his surprise. Before the chatty cat could respond Ladybug does, "Yes, and to my knowledge, both of us didn't know about the miraculous till today. They just appeared, and I believe I know how we got them." She explains with her strange accent on full force. Chat nods along as she speaks agreeing with what she says, however at the end he switches from nodding his head yes to nodding his head no.

Intrigued Robin looks closer at her with a raised eyebrow, as Superboy says "Care to explain?". A confident smile creeps onto her face, eyes shining, "I would love to,". Ladybug turns to Chat "did you meet an old man today? Perhaps in a Hawaiian shirt?" Chat sports a thoughtful look, his tail and ears moving curiously, you can see the gears turning in his head. Finally his ears and tail shoot up as he bounces to the tip of his toes. "Yes! I helped him when his cane fell and he couldn't get up!" Ladybug turns to Robin "that's our guy, I helped him as well and he gave off the feeling that he has secrets".

Robin looks skeptical "You went off a gut feeling that this man had secrets? How could you even tell." Ladybug's confident smile turns cheeky and mischievous, "I'm from Gotham, that shit is in my blood, right Robin." Everyone gets a look of astonishment at the discovery, even Chat who believed she was a Parisian. Ladybug giggles as she watches Robin and Superboy go through a hundred facial expressions a minute. "The accent makes more sense now, it's a French and Gotham accents mixed together" Superboy realizes, and everyone nods their heads in agreement.

Before anyone could utter another word the League comes back "Ladybug, Chat Noir come with us, your Kwamis must be hungry" Wonder Woman says from the other side of the room. Ladybug flies over wings moving so fast it's like a flicker of light, Chat Noir following after, a blur of black and blond. The rest of the teen heroes watch as they go, smiles on their faces.

In the other room with the league, Wonder Woman leads the kids to a screen with both of their civilian identities as well as an old man in a Hawaiian shirt on it. Seeing the screen and no use in denying her identity Ladybug drops her transformation "Tikki Spots Off". A blinding pink light surrounds her and once it fades a Marinette Dupain-Cheng is left standing where Ladybug once stood. Chat Noir quickly follows her lead, leaving a shy smiled Adrien Agreste. Marinette turns to him with calculating eyes, Adrien squirms under her gaze, she lets out a small smile and nods to him. Adrien releases a small breath before smiling back, eyes shining. Both give their Kwamis some food before looking to the adults in the room.

The league lets out a small smile at their interaction before getting to business. "We've contacted each of your parents and have told them you will be working an internship at Wayne Enterprise in the Paris district, during this time you will come using the Zeta tubs to train with the other members of the Young Justice team, you will also be reserve members, when things go south on their missions we will call you two in to help them. Using these wristwatches you will be able to communicate with both the Young Justice, the Justice League, and rogue heroes who agreed to be put in communication with the league and its associates."

Both teens take the wristwatches and put them on their non-dominant hands. Adrien immediately starts messing with it as Batman explains the functions of them. Marinette watches Adrien curiously, as who she believed was a spoiled rich kid was actually just a boy who wanted to belong, and with a silent promise to herself, he would never be alone again.

"I believe it is time to send them home, it is getting quite late is it not?" Superman says placing a hand on Batman's shoulder. Batman sighs "The Zeta tubs aren't ready yet," he turns to the teens "Transform and you two can continue to talk with the others, we will call you when they are ready." Marinette and Adrien turn to each other and shrug their shoulders, "Tikki Spots On," "Plagg Claws Out". Now as Ladybug and Chat Noir they head out.

Once met up with the others Ladybug stands back and she watches Chat, Impulse, Wonder Girl, and Spoiler talk about anything and everything. Superboy and Robin move to stand next to Ladybug, "So you're from Gotham?" Superboy asks breaking the ice, "Yeah, I was a street kid and got caught, a year later I was adopted by my parents, I'm still kinda new to this family and friends thing though." They nod in understanding all three used to being alone before becoming heroes.

"What about you two?", Robin answers first "I was adopted by Batman after I blackmailed him with his secret identity and he found out I had neglectful parents" Ladybug snorts in response, "Pfft, nice, what about you supes? "I was made in a lab by combining Lex Luther and Superman's DNA". She stares at him with questioning eyes before nodding "yeah okay that-that, you win". All three look at each other and lightly laugh a mutual understanding is shared.

" The Zeta tubs are ready," Flash zooms in. Chat and Ladybug smile to each other and head off, the others following to say goodbye. Chat goes in first, fist-bumping Impluse and Spoiler on his way out. Ladybug waves to every member, but at the last moment turns to Superboy and Robin, with a flirty smile and giggle says "Byeeee Robin, Superboy" with one last wink she goes through.

Both boys are left with red faces and determined smiles.
