Taylor's POV
Two hours later...

We are in a car on our way to the party.  There were four of us in the car the driver, a blonde girl in the passenger's seat, Mark and I set in the backseat. It's a quiet and awkward ride, at least for me. The girl in the front keeps looking at me through the rear view mirror. She glaring at me as though I was a snack she so badly wants devour.

I try looking out the window so the scenery would distract me but it wasn't working. I could still feel her eyes on me. I shifted into Mark a little to send her a message that I wasn't alone.

She seemed to get the message she smirked but didnt stop glaring , instead, she winked at me. My obvious discomfort amused her.

"Hannah." Mark called.

"Yeah." She replied turning so she was looking at us.

"Cut it out." He said.

"Cut what out. Your heart or hers?" She asked.

"That's not funny." He retorted.

"Wasn't meant to be babe. I mean Mark. I'm sorry I forgot you dumbed me last-" She said.

"You remembered now." He said cutting Hannah off.

He has a weird ex how wonderful. There was no need to talk about is ex (s) now. Tonight is going to be an interesting night.

"Yeah right."  She said

"And Hannah." Mark said.

"What?" She snapped.

"Stop looking at her and stay away from her tonight." He ordered.

"That won't be hard considering she's ugly as hell." She said turned away. I realise a breath I hadn't known I was holding.

The car come to halt and Mark storms out of the car. He walked to Hannah's door and drags her out. I get out of the car to see what was going on. They walk out of earshot and she shaved him of her. I watch as they had their quiet but heated argument. She kept pointing at me as they talked.

She finally stormed off towards the party leaving him standing there alone frustrated. Coming here was defiantly a mistake, I thought.

"Is everything okay?" I asked When Mark came to get me.

"Yeah, she won't bother you anymore. Let's go." He said pointing towards the party.

There's music playing from a car, a big bonfire in the middle with people around it. Some dancing, while others were sitting around the fire drinking and talking. We find a log to sit on and talk. Some guy comes over to us with drinks.

Mark takes them from him and hands mine to me. I take it thinking a little alcohol won't hurt. As long as I don't get drunk.

"How long have you and Hannah been together?" I asked.

"I don't remember really. Can we not talk about her, please." He said quickly.

"Sure." I said.

So what now? Do I ask him to dance or do I wait for him to ask me? I know if we keep sitting here I will be curious about Hannah and I might ask questions again. And it might not be the right time yet.

"Remember I said we needed to talk?" He asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"I think now is the perfect time." He said.

"OKAY." I said.

"It's a little out of the ordinary so I will need you to be open minded." Mark said.

"Sure." I say.
