Andrew's POV:
After the incident at school, I got questioned by Jake. I understand he cares, but I wasn't in the mood to explain everything.
So Kyle took all my stuff to my room and explained the situation to his friend.
After, what felt like hours of homework and studying, I finally completed everything.
"Are you going to tell me what happened?" demanded Jake when he opened the door to find me loafing on my bed.
3rd Person POV:
"Didn't Kyle already tell you?" questioned Andrew, not paying attention to his brother. Jake made his way to Andrew's bed and sat next to him.
"Look, I'm not going to ask what happened. Kyle did tell me more or less, but not enough for me to understand why they would beat you up."
"I don't know why they did it, but can we please leave it?" urged Andrew in an upset tone. His brother looked at him, wanting to ask more questions, but then determined not to push him.
"Fine, we can, but if those goons ever try that again, they are dead! Got that?" stated Jake. Andrew sat up and gazed at his brother in awe.
"I will let you know if they try it, but Kyle kicked their buts pretty bad. But thank you for caring," returned Andrew. "Yeah, yeah. Mom's working late, and Kyle is going to stay over. So will you cook us dinner?"
"Sure, it might take a while since I'm a bit broken currently."
Jake left his brother in peace and headed to his room, where his friend was currently on his bed, occupied with his phone.

Andrew made Lasagne for everyone. They all devoured their food and praised Andrew for the gourmet meal.
Kyle and Jake took control of dish duty while Andrew went to take a shower. He slowly took off his clothing and investigated all the darkening bruises. Then lightly gasped as he got in the steamy shower.
He spent approximately twenty minutes just absorbing the heat of the water. When he finished and got out, he put on shorts and went to bed.
Kyle quietly opened the door and mumbled, "How are you feeling munchkins?" Andrew jumped because of the voice and quickly hissed in pain after.
"I'm fine," said Andrew with a face laced with pain. Kyle made his way to the side of his bed and looked at him.
"If you need anything, please come and wake me up. Okay?"
Andrew blushed and turned his head the other way. "Will do," replied Andrew. He then gently grabbed Andrew's chin and tilted his head toward him. "Promise?"
"Yes, I promise," assured Andrew to the athletic boy that towered over him. "Good night, munchkins," replied Kyle with a cocky grin as he made his way out of the room.

The following week flew by. Kyle and Jake were busy till late with practice because of the upcoming games that were approaching rapidly.
Andrew spent his days working on school and study work. Tris went on holiday in the middle of the term, so Andrew was alone. Though, that doesn't bother him.
Liam and his goons made it very clear that they disliked Andrew. Every time he turns, one of them gives him a death stare. He also got kicked out of Jake's group for what he did to Andrew.
Andrew was currently making his way to his locker to put all his books away for the weekend.
"Hey, munchkins, are you still up for my party this weekend?" asked Kyle as Andrew closed his locker. He jumped from the sudden noise while Kyle started laughing.
"You need to stop creeping up on me!" shrieked Andrew. "But yes, I am down to go. But it's a bunch of seniors, and I am not one. So what exactly am I going to do there?"
"You are going to keep me company, and it's not all seniors. There are a few juniors too," explained Kyle as if he had the answers to the world's problems.
"Why am I going to keep you company? You have my brother to do that," argues Andrew."I am going to be the weird kid in the corner."
"I like your company, and your brother said he wants to get with a girl, so he will probably be occupied the whole night. And you are not going to be the weird kid in the corner. You are going to hang with me," replied Kyle with a smirk.
"First of all, I don't wanna know about my brother's sex life. And one would think that you would also try to get with a girl," retorts Andrew
Kyle lectured, "I don't want to get with a girl. I have my eyes on someone. But I promise that you will enjoy it a lot."
After Andrew heard the first part of the sentence, his heart started aching. He could feel the tears in his eyes but hastily turned his face and uttered, "I gotta go. I'll try to make it."
Kyle studied the boy suspiciously and said, "I'm picking you up tomorrow before it starts."
Andrew felt like the walls were suffocating him. He had to get out of the building as fast as he could.
"Andrew, wait!" is the last thing he heard before bursting through the school doors.
