When Kyle drove away from the school, he asked, "So, how was your day?" Andrew got pulled out of thought and replied, "It was fine, I guess." Kyle noticed that something was up with Andrew, so he looked at Andrew and questioned in a caring tone, "What's wrong, Andrew? You know you can tell me anything." Andrew contemplated answering Kyle's question and replied, "Nothing, I'm just tired." Kyle decided he won't press it.
The ride was mostly silent, with the only noise coming from the radio. The two boys were always very close. Andrew had known Kyle for as long as he could remember. Even though Kyle was Jake's best friend, Kyle and Andrew became quite close after all the years.
As they pulled up to Andrew's house, Kyle turned to him and asked, "What are your plans for the rest of the day?" Andrew turned to him and replied, "Nothing much. I need to finish the homework I have left, and then I am studying some Chemistry, and you?" "I have nothing planned... would you mind if I keep you company until your brother gets home?" The question took him aback, and he blushed slightly. "Yeah, sure."
"Do you want anything specific for lunch, Jake?" Asked Andrew as he made his way into the kitchen. He sat on one barstool and replied with a devilish smile, "Surprise me, munchkins." Andrew turned around to look at Jake, who now was innocently smiling at him. Andrew's face turned a deep shade of red. He quickly spun around and went to the fridge. Andrew ended up making Alfredo pasta. They sat and ate while watching some shows on the television.
Andrew was sitting at his desk doing math homework while Kyle lay on his bed going through IG. "How the hell am I supposed to understand this?!" Whispered Andrew.
He was too focused on the problem that he didn't notice Kyle now standing behind him. "Do you need help?" Andrew jumped and turned to face him. "I think I just died!" Andrew said, holding his hands over his heart area.
"Well, we wouldn't want that, now would we?" Queried Kyle in a seductive tone. Andrew was shocked by what he said. 'Is he always this flirtatious?' He thought. Kyle pulled out another chair and sat beside him. "Remember when you do these sums that you always use BODMAS." Andrew nodded and yelled, "OFCOURSE, I COMPLETELY FORGOT!" Kyle smiled at Andrew and ruffled his hair. "I'm happy you understand."
After about 2 hours of Kyle helping Andrew with his homework, they heard the front door open. "Sup bitches, I'm home!" yelled Jake as he put his bag down.
Andrew and Kyle went downstairs to greet Kyle. "Sup bro, how was practice?" asked Kyle, pulling his friend into a bro hug. "It was fun. I completely fucked them up!" Andrew let them do their thing while he went to get some water.
Mom❤️: Hello Andrew, I'm working late at the hospital today. Can you make supper?
You: Hey, mom. Yes, I'll fix us some supper. Good luck😘.
"Hey, guys, Mom's working late. What do you guys want for dinner?" Yelled Andrew out of the kitchen. "Surprise us!" called Jake. Andrew got everything ready to make his mom's macaroni and cheese. About 30min later, dinner was ready. "Do you need any help?" Asked Kyle. "Yes, you can go get the dining table ready, please." Kyle quickly got everything and went to set the table. "Jake, dinner is ready, hurry!" Squawked Andrew up the stairs. Jake came tumbling down the stairs at an alarming speed and sat at the table. The other two followed him.
Kyle sat next to Andrew whilst Jake sat opposite them. "I hope you guys enjoy it. I spent hours and hours cooking it!" Spoke Andrew in a dramatic voice while clenching his heart to add emphasis.
"You are such a fucking drama queen," Jake stated. They filled dinner with conversations on random topics. Andrew started daydreaming as Jake got up and took the plates to the sink so that he could wash them.
Andrew got pulled out of his thoughts abruptly when he felt Kyle's hand slipping onto his inner thigh. "Are you okay, Andrew? You've been zoning out the whole day." Andrew's face turned a bright hue of crimson, and he instantly turned his head the other way. Kyle grabbed Andrew's chin and forced him to face him. "I -UHM- I'm fine," said Andrew, looking everywhere except at Kyle. "Look at me," growled Kyle. Andrew's cheeks turned an even brighter colour of red. "You look adorable when you're flustered."
Suddenly, the front door swung open. "Hey guys, I'm home!" yelled their mom. Andrew quickly got up and made his way to his mom. "Hey, mom, how are you?" Their mom walked to the kitchen to set down her stuff. "It was packed! There were many people in the hospital today." Jake popped his head around the corner and kissed his mom on the cheek.
"Kyle, it's getting pretty late. Your mom will be up my ass if you don't get home soon." Kyle laughed and replied, "I know. I guess this is my queue to go. Bye guys, I'll see you tomorrow." Andrew walked Kyle out of the house as Jake said his goodbyes to his friend and ran upstairs.
As he was leaving the door, Kyle turned to Andrew and said, "Thanks for dinner. I forgot how nice you cook. I'll see you tomorrow." Andrew gave Kyle a big smile and waved goodbye as he got into his car.
