Cole is my fav character from ALL of Dragon Age. Hands down. There will be "slight" lemon with him <3.

Y/N's POV

I was walking down the steps into the courtyard at Skyhold. It was beautiful here, I can't believe a place like thing was ever forgotten. I am so glad Solas knew of it. I was just wandering around by this point when I saw Cassandra talking with Vivienne and Solas.

"We can't just keep it like a dog on a leash." Vivienne spoke in her usual full of herself tone. She really gets on my nerves sometimes. Cassandra glanced at me.

"Ah Inquisitor! I'd thought that maybe Cole was a mage, given his strange abilities."

"Cole can make people forget him, or fail to notice him entirely! This is however not the powers that a mage would possess. It seems that Cole is a spirit." Solas said in a slightly monotone voice. Vivienne was quick to reply.

"It is a demon." She grimaced at Solas with her dagger like eyes. We all glanced to where Cole was digging in the dirt, but he was gone. Cassandra looked over at me.

"Whatever he is we should figure out his motive." I nodded in agreement with her. However was thinking about other matters. I went off to talk with him. I searched, he was bent down next to one of our soldiers.

"Pain, suffering, it feels like a dagger to the heart. Hurting, it all hurts. Smell of my daughter's hair as I tuck her in good night. Dead." Cole spoke. I put my right hand on his left shoulder to try and comfort him. He told me back at Haven that he was able to feel others pain. So this didn't alarm me as much. It was just Cole being Cole. Although I do think he's pretty cute, I wonder if he knows what sex is. Why am I thinking about this! He looked at me with his beautiful blue eyes. "You know I can hear you, right?" SHIT! He can read my thoughts! "Why don't you want me to hear you? I can help!" He looked back at one of the soldiers who had horrific wounds to his legs. " It hurts, please Maker make it stop hurting. Maker please! The healers have done all they can, it will take him hours to die. Shall I help him?" (It doesn't really matter what option you pick, but for the sake of the story I'll tell Cole to show him mercy aka kill him).

"Ok Cole, end his pain." Cole sinks his dagger into the man's throat, killing him. "Can we go somewhere else?" Cole nods, we head in the direction of the tavern. He opens the door to the upstairs area and gestures for me to sit on the couch. ( I know there's no couch there but this is my artistic liberty). He grabs some tea and sits beside me.

"So, what did you wish to discuss with me?" I giggle at how formal he is speaking. He blushes slightly. At this point I don't even care that he can read my mind, I just want to be with him. I rest my head on his shoulder and he brushes some of my hair off my face. He's so cute when he smiles. I felt him move his hands to my waist. I could feel a slight blush creeping up on my cheeks. "I know how you feel about me Y/N, why don't you just tell me instead of it tangling inside you like a tightly knit knot? I understand, I don't really know what love is. But Solas told me that you can make me more human, that way I will be able to feel love as you do." It took me a while to think about it, but Cole seemed eager to find out what love felt like. "And Y/N, before you go. I want to know what 'sex' feels like." I looked at him and smiled.

"You'll find out when you're more human, I promise." I smirked at him and walked away.

Next day

I was walking around, trying to find Leliana so she could find the amulet Solas told me about that would help Cole so the mages couldn't bind him. It was better than us binding him. She said she'd have the amulet by the end of the day. I laid on my bed reading most of the day, then a knocking came on my door. It was Cole, he had a huge smile on his face and was holding the amulet.
