Chapter One - Family and Friends

I'm on the middle of my way back home after the meeting that last until this late at night but the traffic seems a bit unusual. There are long queues everywhere I see, although it supposes way past traffic hours.

I look into my phone when a familiar number calls.

"Hello, Risa chan."

The person speaks at the end of line when I receive it.

"Kei chan, what is it?"

"I thought you might want to come, I believe we're not too far away from your company building if you're still in the office."

Benkei or Kei chan as I call him, tells me at the other end of the phone.

His voice is loud as usual.

"Okay, I think I know where you guys at."

I end the phone call and take a big turn with my car, away from the line which is now jamming with cars. I try to look for the nearest parking area before getting out from the car. From where I stand right now, I can see groups of people are gathering ahead.

It rains since a while ago but I forgot to bring my umbrella, so I walk as fast as my heels can takes me. It took me around fifteen minutes walks to reach the first group of people. Some of the black uniform boy noticed me and while some recognize me, they let me walk through them.

I can see there is another group of people wearing different uniforms are standing across from here. As I wore a pale pink blouse with matching skirt and heels, Benkei spots me right away and whistle the signal to the boys to let me walk past them.

Wakasa walks up to me, holding an umbrella to shield me from the rain. He also strips his jacket uniform and wears it on my shoulder when he notices that my blouse is wet. Wakasa is very slender with the skin tone that fairly white. He has a pair of what I call droopy eyes, making him either always looking bored or sleepy.

The opposite group obviously confuse with my presence, I can hear the murmurs going around.

"Who are you?"

A huge tall guy wearing the other group uniform, in a very loud voice, asks me.

Finally Benkei found his match, that's what I think the first moment I heard his voice. They both like to talk in such a loud voice. I don't answer that guy, instead walk straight to the middle area where Benkei and two others person standing at.

The boy that is the cutest from all of them raises his eyebrows when he sees me. I reach out my hands and out of their surprise, pinch both of his cheek.

"Kawaragi Senju, what are you doing here?"

I ask him.

Clearly he's been outside for very long time as I can feel his cheek cold as ice. I can also feel people around us looking at me, clearly shock at my action. Akashi, who's holding umbrella for Senju, wink at me when our eyes meet.

"Onee chan, why are you here?"

Senju talks while I'm still pinching his cheek, making him sound even more adorable.

"Am I not the one asking you first?"

I release my hands and take a closer look at the situation.

Wakasa, Benkei and Akashi are all standing in line with Senju so I can see the situation is quite serious. Four of them are the leader and executives of this gang. It's very rare for them to appear in public like this, all at once.

"Why don't you stand closer?"

I whisper to Wakasa when realize he's still standing under the rain even though he's holding umbrella for me.
