Reliving old nightmares....

I hope all my South African readers especially the ones living in Gauteng and Kwa-zulu Natal in the areas that were mostly effected my the recent occurrences in the country are safe and sound. This is also one of the reasons why I updated late. I was having a hard time mentally as I was scared for my life and I hardly had any sleep for over a week I maybe had 15 hours of sleep and my mum could not come home for 4 days she had to go stay with my Nani. I was literally on a verge of a mental break down. But any way things are slowing coming back to normal and starting to feel a little bit more safer than I felt a few days ago. Hope you all understand and forgive for the late update.

Now let us get to the update shall we...

Arnav's POV...

I brought Khushi's food with me as I walk out of her room closing the bedroom door behind me. Walking closer to the dining room I hear Lavanya call out to me.

Lavanya:"Arnavji come sit down let us eat."

"Huh... Oh okay. Yeah let's eat." I say as I was broken from my train of thought. I walk to my seat next to her and place Khushi's plate on the table.

"Before we start eating cover this plate up and leave it here for Khushi if she wakes up in the middle of the night."

Lavanya:"I will do it after we eat."

"Do you not understand what I meant by before we eat. Lavanya it is not nice to cover the after we eat it will look like we are giving her leftovers to eat and..."

Lavanya:"How will it be leftovers if I already dished the food out for her. It is also fresh food." Sounding a bit irritated.

"Okay leave it Lavanya don't worry about it. " I really don't understand what her issue is if she does not want to do it then just me i can do it myself.

I wake up from my seat to grab the cling film from the kitchen to wrap up the food.

Lavanya:"Where are you going Arnavji?"

"To grab the cling film from the kitchen."

Lavanya scoffs behind me to which ignore.

I walk back to the table and wrap the food.

Lavanya:"You can't be serious Arnavji. I said I would do it after we eat."

"And I said do it now. "

Lavanya:"Gosh... I cooked fresh food for us to eat I was not giving her leftovers!"

"Lavanya can't you talk quietly you will wake up Khushi."

Lavanya:"Are you serious. You are telling me to talk quietly for her."

"She is sleeping Lavanya."

Lavanya:"Oh..."

"And for covering up the food, I did not finish what I was saying. I don't want any germs or bacteria going onto the food. So please try to understand. She is pregnant Lavanya so we have to be more careful about her health now."

Lavanya:"You are right Arnavji sorry about not trying to understand. "

"It is okay Lavanya but try to think about Khushi because she is the one who is sacrificing a lot for us while we are not." I told her.
