Footsteps grew louder behind me as the fluffy brunette put his hand on my shoulder.
"I said, where do you think you're going?" He said more sternly.
"I'm going for a walk if that's fine by you," I said calmly. I didn't want to aggravate him at all, it was early and I must have woken him up, and I kinda feel bad about it. He looked at me suspiciously, looking me up and down. His messy hair fell over his eyes as he adjusted his oversized blue t-shirt.
"Why are you up so early?" Wilbur said in a sleepy voice. "It's literally-" He looks at the clock. "2:23, I thought you were the type to sleep in until at least 7:30." I didn't know whether to be offended... or...
"Oh, yeah, just kinda woke up and couldn't go back to sleep," I said while scratching my neck. Wasn't quite ready for him to know about my life-changing trauma and my mental disorders. a h a h a
"Um... Y/n? I- I think you're crying a bit..." E x - s q u e e z e m e ? HE SAID WHAT NOW NO NO SIR I CANT CRY NO TOO EARLY
"Oh, haha just something in my eye," I said, wiping my tear. "Anyway, I'm gonna go for that walk, I promise I'll be home by 4, I'll be back in bed, it'll only be around the block, and-"
"It's fine, it's fine, just," He paused. "Just stay safe, okay?"
"Oh-" He's just letting me go out on my own? Wow, that's... nice. "Okay then, I will be back by 4, is that okay?"
"Yes, that's fine. I'll probably still be up, so if you come home early we can chill in my room for a bit."
"Alright then, I'll be on my way." I started to make my way out the door.
"Just be careful, Y/n." He said with a smile
"I will,"
