My feet hit the pavement as I walked around the block. Beads of sweat were dripping down my forehead, the wind whipped my hair behind my head. As I walked, I thought about the dream. He didn't really think of me like that, right?

Right?

No, he loves me. He was so happy to see me, there's no way he could think it's my fault. I was young, I didn't know what happened, I can't be blamed for it.

As I continued to walk, I stumbled upon a bench. I smiled and sat down. Benches always gave me a calm feeling, it's hard to explain. There were still stars in the sky, it was stunning. Space has always amazed me, like, we are living on a floating rock in space that spins super fast and is orbiting a big ball of fire, with 6 other planets and billions of stars, and this is just ONE galaxy.

"Mind if I sit?" A male voice said. I looked to see the face who said that and it was a guy, maybe a little bit older than me. He was tall, very tall, and he had grey eyes. He wore a red and green varsity jacket, and black pants. He seemed familiar like we had met before.

"Yeah, go ahead." What was he doing up so early? I kinda wanted to ask but it felt awkward. "It's very pretty tonight," I said awkwardly.

"It is very pretty," He replied.

"Ooh, y'know what'd be cool? Laying on the roof and just watching the stars,"

"It would be," There was a pause. "Speaking of rooves, is there any chance you were that girl on the roof earlier tonight?" Holy shit I actually found him. Well, he found me, but y'know.

"Actually, I am! I'm Y/n, I'm new around here." I said as I put my hand out.

"I'm Ranboo." He grabbed my hand for a firm handshake. We just smiled at each other and laughed. "There's a flower field nearby, do you wanna go? It's not too far from here, maybe like a 10-minute walk." He suggested while scratching the back of his neck.

"Oooh, I love flower fields! Let's go!" I said jumping off of the bench and walking down the sidewalk. I heard stifled laughter from behind me.

"Y/n it's- it's the other way," He chuckled. Well, that's embarrassing...

"Oh haha, I knew that, I was just testing you." I laughed. "Let's go then!" I grabbed his hand and started to walk. "Oh, crap, are okay if I do that?" He seemed shocked that I asked that question.

"Yeah, that's fine. Thank you for asking," He smiled. I grinned as I started to run. The wind messing up our hair, our laughter echoing in the still air. We shushed each other at the exact same time, and we both just stopped dead in our tracks. The silence was broken with Ranboos cackling, followed by mine. The rest of the walk was just us shushing each other repetitively, then continuing to laugh our asses off.

"Hey dummy," He smacked my shoulder lightly. "We're here." I couldn't see anything. I looked to Ranboo and he just smirked. He pulled out his phone and opened his flashlight. I gasped at the sight of the field.

"Oh my goodness..." I walked into the entrance. "It's gorgeous," I looked to Ranboo before dragging him into the field. We ran around, looking for a grassy patch for us to lay in. "Over here! I found a spot!" We ran past lilys, daffodils, tulips, and so many more in so many colors. I laid down and he did the same next to me.

"We met, what, like 30 minutes ago?" I nodded. "It's usually hard for me to make friends, but you-we just clicked! I don't know what else to say,"

"I do, and I think we are gonna be good friends."
