"Come on let's get going!" I said, we've wasted enough time sitting around here.

"I can't move" Dina looked at me with her large sad eyes, "Seriously Hazel, I really, really can't move, my ankle is so painful."

I looked down at her foot, her ankle had swollen up like a large football, it looked awful. There was no way Dina was walking on that foot.

I slumped back down onto the floor, I had no idea what we were going to do. Natasha looked up at me, "Hazel either you stay with Dina and I'll go to the camp or the other way round. Dina isn't going anywhere but one of us has to stay with her and the other needs to go and get help!"

I hated the idea of staying here and just waiting, patience was never my strong point, but the thought of traipsing through the rainforest on my own wasn't too appealing.

Dina looked up, "Natasha will you stay with me?" she asked. "No offense Hazel, but you'll just spend the entire time pacing up and down and frowning at me!"

We all laughed at that, "No worries. It's probably for the best. OK well stay here and don't move, I'll be able to retrace my steps back here, we aren't that far from the river so it shouldn't be that hard and if I am on my own I'll be able to walk a lot quicker. The only problem is that we don't have any water or food, but worry we've just had a drink and I should only be about four or five hours by the time I get to the camp and then back here. Just rest and stay together."

We all hugged each other and we a little hesitation I started off alone in the direction of the river.

"Only half an hour and I should be there, then a couple of hours downstream, no problems" I told myself, nothing will go wrong. I hoped Natasha and Dina would be OK sitting there for so long on their own, especially with the sun already starting to dip down. I knew I only had a couple of hours until night time. I picked up my pace and almost started jogging towards the river.
