 The girls all sat in a borrowed truck from Matt. It drove smoothly down the road with Caroline Behind the wheel. Bonnie sat in the front with Faith and Elena in the back. It was dim and cool out. The girls all talked at once over the loud music. It was Faith's Girly playlist. Lindsay Lohan 'Xanax' played with all the windows down. 

 Because of the shadow creature showing up It held up plans for the girl's trip. They made sure that Faith did have a hex out angry bound spirit. But she came out hex clean. so they made the plans but later. Of course, the Salvatore brothers advised against it. And they did strongly. But the girl talked the men into a confusion circle. It ended with Demane saying 

"Faith needs to get out of this house and maybe the town while we don't know what was after her." 

Causing a mass of agreeance and the girl driving away into the night. Faith was trying to be okay but the more she thought back to the shadow and how it was watching her so closely. But the more she thought back to it she felt like she could see a face looking back at her. Her skin became cold and she developed goosebumps. 

"Hey" Elena called her softly. She touched Faith's hand. "I have had my fair share of creepy things happening. It makes me feel like I'm crazy like I can believe that this is my life. But your dad and uncle are always to my rescue. So don't worry."

Her words made Faith feel nice. With all the magical energy around her Faith could imagine the oddities she attracts.  

"Thank you," Faith said holding the other girl's hand tightly.  They drove with the windows down and music blasting. Eyes closed enjoying each other's company.

The girls entered the living space they would be staying in with all the bags. It was a half days trip to the next town and just noon.

"Okay do we rest or ....OR do we start the festivities ?" asked Caroline as she started gathering drinks to mix. "I am a vampire and it does take a lot more for me to get wasted. So I'm gonna start." She mixed vodka and a fruit drink.

"She not wrong we are in the setting to get strange," Bonnie said as she started lining up shots. "Elena?" Bonnie called from across the room. She was looking down at her phone texting.

"Huh? yeah, sure ill do one. Just trying to get into contact with Jer. He's been busy all summer so i never get to talk to him."

Bonnie and caroline looked at Faith, and Faith looked into her shot glass. Elena might be the only one who doesn't know that Faith and Jeremy are hanging around each other. 

Faith hadn't spoken to Jeremy since the night of the shadow attack.  She went to stay with Elena but in the middle of the night, she saw Jeremy. It was a steaming encounter that left her wanting more and not satisfied. If he kept at the game she was going to find someone else. 

"Okay well, he isn't answering me anyway. let's do the shots."  

Bonnie gave Faith a side glance as she stood next to her. Not that faith wanted to keep Elena out but she was respecting Jeremy and his wish for privacy from his sister. 

"Okay girls trip on 3!" yelled Bonnie 

"1...2...3 GIRLS TRIP," they all said 

Caroline chugged her drink as the others took the shots. They split to go to rooms and get ready for the events of the evening.

When Faith got to her room she felt the shot in her stomach-turning and adding to her glow. She was thinking of Jeremy now. His lips, his hands, his fingers, and his mouth. He wasn't a true bad boy, more of a punk. Angry with good reason but no healthy outlet. Faith wasn't truly falling for him but he knew how to make her body sing. 

When she closed her door and opened her phone she saw he texted her 20 minutes earlier

"Wish i could feel you gripping me rn."  The strong memory made you shiver. He was really good. But to keep up the image Faith has made for her she ignored him. Kinda like he is ignoring Elena. He is such a brat.

The girls drank more and listened to music as they got ready to head out. Elena had on a long black tank, light blue jeans sort, and brown boots. Bonnie had on a little black dress and gold flip-flops. Caroline has on a white sleeveless dress, brown belt, and white wedges. Faith dressed in a black short sleeve crop top and a  dark green tank top skirt with low block heels. The girls looked youthful and happy, ready to take on the small town. They looked up local bars and pubs but nothing eye-grabbing popped up.

"What about that guy you girls met?" Caroline mentioned 

"Very true you also said he was cute," added Elena  said kinda tipsy 

"Ill text him and see what he says." Bonnie took her phone out as the girls took selfies and sipped on the strongly made drinks 

"He got back to me!" Bonnie yelled "He said the town is dead because of some footloose type of law. He said that a party is happening at the mayor's son's house while everything relaxes." 

"Mayor's son?" Caroline said as she looked over Bonnies shoulder 

"Down girl you can see him in person." Faith said playfully pulling Caroline back 

"True~" Caroline sang and spun away from the girls to look at her reflection. Checking herself out. I look like a fair Queen today. When do we go?"

"He said it's an all-day thing. We can go right now" Bonnie said closing her phone. 

"Sounds like a plan to me," Faith said getting her bag and cell phone. 

They giggled and left the living area for an evening of being regular girls. Regular supernatural girls

Hey yall im sorry for being super spotty with updating. My life has been up and down. i moved out with small savings but plans. a job that works me every day to my limit. my mother had a 3rd heart attack she is walking and talking well. she isn't 100% but taking steps. My health has been in and out but im working with my doctor so i can be as normal as possible. I haven't forgotten about yall or this book. I have just been doing the hard part of healing (Also lost a family member and had a blocked dark memory comeback) I will complete this book this year
