Damon's Daughter ( VD Fan Fic)

Caroline was sipping on a beer and talking to a group of cheerleaders. Elena was talking to Matt and Bonnie. But Then Caroline turned her head sharply to Elena's direction. Elena felt Caroline's gaze and looked over at her stressed face.

Caroline walked her way over to Elena and the others before she announced to the small group "Blood"

"Have you seen Faith around?" Bonnie questioned looking around the crowd.

"Oh crap," Caroline said as she looked around frantically looking for Faith. All she saw was a sea of teens drinking and dancing. As she looked over the crowd she saw a familiar brooding face.

"Crap crap crap" Caroline chanted as Stefan got closer. His brow was in a deep frown when he got to the trio.

"How is this keeping Faith safe?" Stefan asked looking each of them in the eye.  

"Ste-" Elena started 

"Not right now. We need to find her before Damon finds out." Stefan said as he sniffed the air. "The scent of the blood will be our first clue." 

The group walked through the crowed of drunk young adults, following the sent of blood.

The group made it to the other side of the lake to see a small trail of blood.

"Is it her's?" asked Bonnie looking down fearfully

"No," Caroline said as she inhaled the air.

"When Damon drew blood the other day I got her sent." Caroline squatted down to touch the blood. "It's cold." She brought her fingers to her mouth "This happened about 20 minutes ago."

"Okay, lets split up looking for her. Bonnie and Matt go west. Caroline and Elena go east. I'll go north."

"What if we don-" Matt started but was interrupted by Bonnie scolding him "Don't talk like that Matt we will find her"

With a nod to each group, they split up.

Faith woke up to her looking over Casey knocked out in the grass. She noticed that he was in the center of a prison spell. He was trapped. She looked around her area to see that in a tree to her left was a skull of a deer and to her right was a symbol that is used in damaged souls in hell. She didn't have any memory of how she got to this area.

She looked down at her hand and saw blood. She was thinking hard and it hit her.

"Voodoo queen come to me!" She yelled into the air.

The silents were very quiet until a high pitch buzzing sound happened. In the distance lights gathered and people in white. They got closer and Faith saw that it was her grandmother and her followers. They sang, chanted and beat drums until the got to Faith. They surrounded her and Casey still knocked out in his prison.

"Come child." said the Voodoo queen to Faith holding her hand out. Faith took her hand and kissed her rings. One for truth, one for wisdom, and the last for protection.

When Faith lifted her head her grandmother gave her a tight hug and kiss on the forehead.

Faith looked her Grandmother in the eye and asked "What have you done to Casey?" 

"I noticed that you wouldnt take care of him like I asked of you. So i took it into my own hands." Her grandmother respomded cooly. 

"No you don't get to do that. I told you I don't like it when you take over my body Grandmother." Faith said slightly heated from her grandmother violating her space. This wasnt the first time her grandmother used her body. The first was when her grandmother took over her body and made her break into a enimies home and steal a magic bracelet.

When Faith woke up she was hiding in the attic at 2am. She told her mother and was given a protecion spell to keep her grandmother out of her. The potion must have warn off. She had forgotten because of her involvment with finding her father.

"Nevermind that child. This boy is evil, he was getting to cozy around you. What if he found out what kind of witch you are? He could have stripped you of your power, and out bloodline would not continue on."

"Is that all that matters Grandmother? Me having babies? Is that all im good for in your eyes?" Faith was upset but not pissed. Her Grandmother was always honest with her about carrying on her families bloodline. But it didnt stop her from feeling hurt my her grandmothers words.

Faith went over  to the deer skull and cupped it in her hands. She felt the dark energy in the skull and began pulling it out. 

"What are you doing?" Caroline asked walking into the clearing with Elena. BEcause they are not witches they can not see the group that surrounded then. The unknowingly walked arouned eatch ghost.

"Dont worry I have it under control." Faith went back to pulling the dark energy out of the skull. When she had it all in her body she focused the energy and pushed it into the symbol. the energy destoyed the power the symbol held and freed Casey from his prison.

"You are going to look back at this moment child and see how foolish your actions are." Her grandmother said with a icy tone. 

"Caroline can you give him some of your blood." She said ignoring her grandmother.

As Casey drank fromher wrist, Stefan showed up. He pulled Faith into a tight hug and pulled back to look over her.

"What the hell happend to you?"

Before she could get a word out Bonnie and Matt came running in. "Who are these people Faith?" Bonnie asked looking around the groupe and counting to see how many people to fight off.

"What people?" Matt asked as he looked around and seeing that the forest was empty and dark. But from Bonnies view it was well it and crowded. 

"They cant see them Bonnie. Only witches can" Faith responded. "And we need to go, before my grandmother does something dangerous." 

"Stefan Ill tell you about it once we get to the house. Its nothing crazy, I just need to drink a potion and my problems will be solved."

Confused by the whole situation Stefan just nodded and followed Faith out the woods holding up Casey with Matt.
