Chapter 5: "Please stay with me..."

I'd first like to fan girl for one moment. 393 reads?!!! Last time I checked it was 161!! You guys really are amazing! Haha now, ON WITH ZE STORYYYY!

BANG! "What the hell was that?!" Ichigo knocks on the bathroom door. "Orihime? Are you ok?!" No answer. "Orihime?!" Still no answer. Ichigo kicks open the door and looks around the steamy room. He quickly runs over to the tub and sees her knocked out.

A mixture of blood and water sinks into the drain, Ichigo trys to pick her up but the water is so hot that he had to remove his hands. He quickly turns off the water and picks her up. While carrying her carefully, he takes her to his room, drys her off, and puts the clothes ,that he picked out, on her. He watches her. "Orihime..." She began to squirm in her sleep and a tear rolls down her face. Ichigo sighs and calls for his father.

Isshin quickly runs upstairs, when her arrives, her head started to bleed even more. "Dad! She is bleeding!" "Do you think I don't see that?!" Isshin grabbed guaze and the proper equipment for stitching, and began working. It finally stops bleeding after Isshin treats the wound. Ichigo stays by her side the whole night and falls asleep with his head at her bedside.

Orihime's POV:
I woke up with this unbearable pain in my head, as I slowly open my eyes, everything is blurry. I close my eyes and try to sit up, but instead I fall back onto the bed whimpering in pain. While sitting in silence to calm my aching head I hear  steady breathing. I open my eyes and look to my left and see Ichigo sleeping beside me. I smile a little then frown. 'Hesleptthereallnight? What'sgoingon? LastIrememberwasbeingintheshower.'

I reach out to touch his hair but as I was reaching he moves and I move my hand away from him. 'I'mcausingsomanyproblemsforhim... Ihavetogetoutofhere!' She slowly sits up and gets out of the bed and immediately feels woozy and falls on the floor.

Ichigo's POV:
I heard something fall and wake up. I open my eyes and see that Orihime is gone. "Orihime?!" Soon after I called out for her I hear a groan. I quickly stand up and see her on the floor. "Orihime!" I run to her and help her stand up. "What are you doing? You need to rest!" She pushes me away and slowly walks to the door.

Normal POV:

As she was walking to the door Orihime felt strong arms wrap around her. "Orihime, where are you going? You need rest." Her heart began to beat extremely fast. "I-ichigo..." "I should have known you would try to leave. Come back to bed." She blushes in embarrassment. "Please lay back down, you hit your head pretty hard yesterday."
She looks down at her feet. "I hate being a bother, you know that..." Ichigo turns her towards him in one swift motion and nods. "I know, but you need to understand that you are not a bother, I want, I need you to stay with me and rest." He wraps his arms around her and brings her closer to his body and whispers in her ear. "Please, stay with me."  She hugs him and lays her head on his chest, he let's go of her and takes her hand in his and leads her back to the bed.

She lays down and Ichigo began to walk away. "D-don't leave me!" She grips her head due to the pain she caused by screaming. Ichigo quickly turns to her. "Orihime, calm down. I'm not leaving you, I'm going to get a wet rag for your forehead." He smiles gently at her. "I'll be right back, okay?" She nods slowly. He turns back to the door and goes to get a rag.

Orihime lays back down and sighs. 'I'mcausingsomuchtrouble, wehaveschooltodayandheisabsentbecauseofme...' she starts to cry feeling so useless. Ichigo walks back in with the wet rag in his hand. "Orihime I have the rag!-Orihime... what's wrong?" His happy face instantly turned into a worried look. She shakes her head, not wanting to answer him.

"Orihime..." He walks to her and puts the rag on her forehead and wipes her tears away ,with his thumbs, gently. "I'm sorry, Ichi-kun!... I just... I'm sad and hurt... and depressed.... I'm sad to say this but... I just want to die..." Ichigos eyes widen, then slowly went into soft caring look. "I really, really wish I could take all of your pain away, but I can't... your my friend..and I didn't protect you as I should have... I failed you, and I'm the reason this happened to you...all I can do now is sit beside you, hug you, and just comfort you. Don't ever say you want to die, I won't let that happen!"

(A/N, "friends" GAH Friend zoned lol)

Orihime looks up at Ichigo. "Ichigo, this wasn't your fault! It was mine, you didn't know I was out, my boss man told me that if I didn't go, I would be fired. I thought about calling you to tell you but I figured you would be asleep. It was my fault.....you did absolutely nothing but help. All I  want now is for you to stay with me.. okay?" She sits up carefully and hugs him, he was startled at first, but he hugged her back. "Okay, I will stay, but only if you will sleep for me?" He looks at her as if he was pleading. She smiles and nods. "Alright only because you asked."

She lays down steadily and falls back to sleep, Ichigo places a blanket on the floor and falls asleep as well.
