He finally comes back.

"Hey, been a while." I wave lazily at him. He throws me his keys and takes a seat beside me.
I stare at him, hoping he'll complain about the girl he just brought home.

"Nothing?" I ask after a while.

"Nothing what?" He asks.

"Stella or whatever he name was. She totally likes you." I chuckle nudging him in the side.

"What? No she doesn't." He scoffs, pulling out his vape.

"She totally does. Bitch didn't know how to skate but still tried to impress you. She even kissed your cheek." I laugh in awe.

"Nah she just does that." He rolls his eyes and waves me off.

"You're kidding me." I look directly at him.

"I'm not. That's just how she is." He says.

"Mhm." I look away. "Girl scraped her hands and starting crying." I burst out laughing.

"*snorts* yeah she did." Suna starts to laugh along with me.

All of a sudden a huge flashlight shines on us. A phone light.
The girl comes into view with chewing gum and her hands on her hips a bit too intensely.

"Have you seen Stella?" She chews loudly, flipping her weirdly curled short hair.

"Uhhh yeah he just dropped her off." I answer, confused.

"Sunypooooo! Stella told me you went out with her! How'd it go?" She completely ignores me. Used to this already.

"Uhm-" Suna starts to say.
Wait hold on- A DATE!?!?

"Alright nah, he's MY boyfriend so you wannabes gotta back off. Alrighty? Sound A-OK?" I ask, standing up.

She grimaces.

"AYE BITCHESSSS!!" We hear another girl yell from behind the one with the flashlight.

"how many of these weirdos are there!?!?" I hiss/whisper into Sunas ear.
"This makes all 3." He answers with a done-with-life look.

The girl with the flashlight waves her closer and whispers something into her ear. She looks at me and gets an angry look.

"Ew." She whispers not too subtly, giggling.

"I know." The girl with the flashlight giggles. I feel kinda down. I mean, I know they're talking about me.

Suna all of a sudden gets up.

"Nina, Leo, I know you're jealous so get the hell out of here. Pass the news to Stella too. I don't care if you make fun of people on the streets but you say one thing about my girlfriend and you better sleep with one eye open." He spits the words out aggressively, pointing at them with every statement.

That's hot.

Nina starts to tear up and drops the flashlight as Leo flips me off and leaves.

"Such a bitch." Nina says under her breath through the fake tears.

"Shut up." Suna hisses. Nina stomps her foot like a child and joins Leo.

"You're badass." I mutter. I'm not gonna lie, I'm kind of turned on right now.

"No, they're just bitches." He sighs, picking up the flashlight.
"Well well, she left a little gift." He rolls his eyes, chucking the flashlight as far as he can. We see the light go out.

"So what is the deal with them? Why're they all over you and shit?" I ask.

He sighs, clenches his jaw then looks away.

"I used to date Stella." He mutters. I gasp.

"SHES THE GIRL?! THE LAST GIRLFRIEND!?!" I ask, in shock.

"Sadly yes. Very unpleasant. Lots of patience was needed." He shakes his head in guilt.

I'm not gonna lie, Stella is pretty. Not as pretty as me but still really pretty.

"Oh." I answer. For some reason I feel jealous. I know she isn't competition but I still feel mad for some reason.

"Hey but you're 100% better. She's so selfish and annoying." He says, putting his arm around my shoulders.

"You sure?" I ask.

"I mean yeah, you're funny and smart and cute AND you can skate." He smiles and gives me a kiss. "Plus you look really good under me." He grins.
I get all flustered and push him away.

"Gottem." He smiles.

"Shut up!" I laugh.

"Man, I love everything about you." He smiles, looking away into the distance.

Did he just-

He realizes what he said.

"No I dont love you!" He says.

"You don't?" I ask, my smile fading.

"NO I DO, I-" he puts his hands over his face.
"Man this wasn't supposed to happen like this." For once he's flustered.

"OoooooOoooOooh Suna Rintaro LoVeS Me!" I giggle, scooting beside him.

"I do OK!?!?" He spits, still hiding his face. I smirk and pull his head towards me.

"Idiot, I love you too." I say. I break out laughing.

"Why are you laughing? This is a serious moment." He says. He then breaks out laughing.

"I'm sorry that was just so cringy." I lay down.

"Agreed. But it's true right?" He asks, laying down beside me and looking into my eyes.

"... yes. It's true." I move my head closer to his, bringing him in for a kiss.
I feel him exhale against the kiss through his nose, like he's relieved. I smile against the kiss and I feel him do the same.

We disconnect our mouths but keep ours eyes closed, foreheads against each other.

"(Y/N), I love you." Suna says quietly.

"Rin, I love you too." I answer.

Then we lay there.

Watching the stars.

We just calmly exist.

Being in love with each other.
