"Chara are you actually serious?!" Frisk screamed in disbelief.

Chara didn't answer her, she just stared at her dusty hands and cries her mistake for doing this. She kept on whispering to herself, "No. They're okay. I'll just reset. Yes! Reset! I'll just try another run and it'll all be okay!"

Frisk can hear anything that would escape from Chara's mouth, which made the ghost mad upon what the human was going to do next.

"Chara," Frisk called, expressionless.

"Frisk I told you! I can't!—"

"Don't be such a baby! Nothing's happening yet, Chara. You just killed them. You gave them... a different kind of mercy." The ghost smiled inwardly when she remembered how their victims struggled for dear life, they protected themselves to death.

Chara's tears just kept on escaping, her heart hurts as she brought out the reset button which made the ghost frantic.

"Chara! What? Are you wasting this perfectly good run just for your petty first time of outburst of feelings or whatnot?" Frisk scoffed, "We haven't even started yet," her voice turned echoey.

"F-Frisk," Chara cries as she stares at the reset button guiltily. "Frisk... I-I'm scared..," she whimpers.

Frisk replied with a grumble, "What? Just because you received a 'but nobody came' battle screen?" She sighed.

Chara extended her arm and aimed to push the button, "I-I'm sorry Frisk..."

"Wait! CHARA!—" she tried stopping her but in a flash, they found themselves in the beginning, the golden flower bed, they did another reset.

Frisk couldn't help but explode in fury. "YOU. IDIOT!" She screamed, "Why would you waste that perfectly good run?! Nothing went wrong! You followed what I had told you to do, now your bailing on me?! That was the first step Chara!"

Chara went quiet, trying to calm down over Frisk's anger.

"Great! Now I'm going to sit through and watch another cringe run with that creepy plush doll and that old coward goat!"

Chara felt awful, she was guilty, since Frisk wanted to help her achieve a new ending. Frisk was trying to help and yet Chara got scared of the new things she did and received. She backed out and did a reset, thinking it'll be okay in the next. Because of that, she had to go through all of it again. She has to kill them again.

"There's no turning back now..." Chara thoughts.

"I'm sorry... F-Frisk, I admit. I-I'm sometimes a coward. I get nervous when there's a sudden change, because I thought there's nothing going to hurt me since everyone, everything here is harmless. They don't really want to fight for blood, but they want to defend themselves. I-I... I'm sorry Frisk... s-so don't worry, your help won't be in vain... I—"

"Oh please shut it with the sweet talk," Frisk interrupts in disgust. "I'm leaving. It seems to me you're not that determined for this route we're doing so farewell."

Chara started to panic. "No! Frisk! Don't leave! Frisk I'm really sorry! Please! Dont leave me..." She begged. "I'm scared..."

When Frisk heard her pleas, she smiled wickedly in success. Frisk wanted this to happen.

"What?" Frisk pretended to be disinterested.

"I want to do it! I'm going to finish it! So please... don't leave, Frisk... Even if I'm not determined enough."

"Hm... she doesn't know I could hear her thoughts." Frisk spoke in her thoughts so Chara won't hear. After that, Frisk composes herself and kept on the act. Frisk can't really leave. But she used that method so Chara would depend on her. Like a child, after they've done something wrong, they're scared to be left alone and take the blame for it. Frisk smirked in excitement.
