demons (the 100 bellamy blake)

Chapter 9

A few days past and you had almost recovered. Luckily enough because you can clarke had the joys of a meeting with jaha .Yep the one and only chancellor of the ark Bellamy couldn't attend the meeting  due to the obviously reason so you where stuck with miss perfect. at least your dad would be in the meeting along with everybody on the council. 

trust jaha to waffle on about how great it is that you survived and you should be proud and what this means for the ark which you had to nod to but deep down you wanted to scream at him about how he sent you down here like lambs to be slaughtered 

"tell me about the grounder can he provide any insight on how to survive the winter" jaha asked

"no we don't think he understands english and if he does he's not talking if i was him i wouldn't help us either so thats a dead end " you say bluntly

"we're doing everything we canto prepare down here" clarke says "gathering nuts and berries"

"we sent hunting parties out so we can stockpile meats we haven't worked out how to store them yet and digging for roots but food and water isn't out issue shelter is we have no blankets odds are we freeze to death before we starve or un out of fresh water" you say

"there's good news on that front" your dad says the camera flipping to him honestly it was a relief to actually see him you knew he was safe but this still brought you a feeling of comfort you couldn't wait for him to actually come down "according to the civil defense plans from before the war" the screen starts to break up slightly which isn't surprising your surprised a connection could reach that far "there's an old emergency aid depot not far from the landing sight here are the coordinates" 

you grab a piece of paper and a pencil and put down the coordinates glancing up tot check you had copied them down right 

"in additions to supplies it could provide shelter to the 100 and for the citizens coming down from the ark" jaha says

"and what makes you think its intact" clarke did have a good point 75 years is a long time for a structure to hold especially in radioactive conditions and it might of been hit during the war

"it was designed to withstand nuclear warfare" your dad says looking at his screen 

"okay we will go check it out" you say

"chancellor i have to object" of course you recognise this women the old chancellor before jaha how is she back on the council the is a very good reason to why she's no longer chancellor guess she wormed her way back in the place of abbie griffin since you could see she wasn't present  "project exodus is underway the kids should sit tight in their camp until the first dropship launches" as if your going to listen to her and be sitting ducks to the grounders you had the coordinates nobody wills stop you and clarke share a look clearly thinking the same thing honesty who did this women think she was

"even if everything goes without a Hitch the 100 would die from exposure  before relief arrives i would like a moment alone with yasmine and clarke please" jaha raising his voice making your almost laugh you really couldn't take him seriously 

"and i know there's a line of parents waiting to talk to their kids" jaha says how would that work who would organise it how you give people slots what if peopled refused all these questions floated around your head

"where all very proud of what you've done down there clarke your mother" this must hit a nerve with clarke wonder what happened

"i don't want to talk about my mother"

"please clarke its time to forgive let me schedule a time for you and abby to sit down"

"look i know you both think that betraying my dad killing him was an unavoidable tragedy but i don't see it that way and i never will so just tell me whos next and let someone who actually want to talk to their parents have a turn"
