When we arrived to my grandma house I was tired. Takia && Aerrelle were already sleep so I made sure they were tucked in && I entered the living room w/ my mama and grandma to let them know everything I knew. I sat on the green sofa next to backdoor and grabbed a blanket. I placed my phone on charge and the conversation went on for hours. Everybody was heated and upset . By this time we stopped talking it was going on 1:30 in the morning I was beyond tired but for some reason I have to fall asleep on the phone and since I was at my grandma house I knew exactly who to call, Tino.
Tino was my childhood sweetheart && didn't mind listening to me rant on and on about nothing! So by it being damn near 2 in the morning I knew he was at work. I dialed his number waiting for him to answer.
" Wassup baby girl ?" he sang into the phone
"Just a long stressful day " I replied
I sat on the phone and drifted off to sleep while I was listening to all the noise in the background!
Tino was 22 w/ dreads he stands about 6'1 and heavy set. He works overnight at the post office. I've been knowing him since I was about 12. We met at my uncles church and I would have never thought we would be where we are today . He's not the emotional type but he's a sweetheart. We just got on a more serious note about a year ago.
* FLASHBACK *
scrolling down Facebook reading the boring or sexual posts I seen tino post a status I really did miss him and his sister I haven't been to my uncles church in a good little minute. So I thought I was bold I inboxed him " Hey, I miss you! "
He replied back quicker than I thought the message made me blush! I miss you too li mama. && from there the flirting and long conversations begun.
