Anakin and his adventures in Remnant: A RWBY Story/ Volume 2

The Odd Grimm Discovery's

Anakin and his team continue on into the deeper part of the forest. Each of them are on high alert. It's been hours since the cave, and they hadn't seen or heard a single Grimm. It was unsettling. They each knew something wasn't right. Eventually they reach a clearing.

"What's that?" Lilly asks warily. In the clearing what she was seeing was a black figure. As the group got closer they could see it clearly.

"It's, a Grimm." Rex frowns. The creature simply looked over with hollow eyes upon its body. It took the appearance of a sabertooth tiger with the normal black fur and bony armor.

Professor Port raises a brow. "Not just any Grimm, but a Sabyr." He states. "This isn't normal. Sabyr's aren't indigenous to our region. They're almost always found near Atlas."

"Then what is it doing here." Anakin wonders. "And why hasn't it attacked us yet?"

Crimson hummed in thought. He then began to approach the Grimm. "Crimson what are you doing?" Lilly asked.

"Testing a hunch." He says. After a moment Crimson stood right next to the creature. It looks at him before turning to look another direction. "It's not attacking." He mutters. Crimson narrows his eyes before reaching his hand out. The second his hand made contact with the Grimm its eyes glowed a bright emerald green. Crimson let go immediately and backed up. The Grimm's body began to bloat as it roars out in pain. Crimson began running back to his team only for the Grimm to explode into a green mist hitting Crimson, and launching him past his teammates.

Anakin and Lilly rush to Crimson while Rex ready's his blasters. "What the hell was that!?" Rex yelled.

"I-Im not sure!" Port stutters. "I've never seen anything like this!" Rex scowls and spits off clones to check the area.

Meanwhile Anakin helps Crimson back up. "You alright?" He asks.

"Fine." Crimson assures waving him off. "Just a little shook up."

"SIR's," One of Rex's clone calls out. "I found something!" The team gives each other worried looks before walking over. "It's some kind of mini transmitter."

In front of them was a small man made device. It was cylindrical in design with a green light
blinking on the top. Anakin picks it up and inspects it finding the words 'Merlot Industries'.

"Merlot Industries?" Anakin mutters. "Crimson, dose this name mean anything?"

Crimson frowns upon seeing the words. "Merlot... He was a world renowned scientist, and owner to Merlot Industries. Though he became obsessed with trying to experiment on Grimm."

"Didn't he die?" Lilly asks. "During the fall of Mountain Glenn." She specifies.

Crimson shrugs. "That's what everyone assumes, but his body was never found. Then again he could've been eaten by a Grimm and we'd never know."

"Think we can fine out where it came from?" Rex asks.

Anakin study's it for a moment. "I might be able to reverse the signal. As it is, it appears to be transmitting a signal from somewhere else. If I can reverse it. Then we can find out where it came from. I'll need some time to tinker with it. I think I have some of my tools in my belt."

"Well then," The Professor smiles. "Let's find a place to set up camp."

Ahsoka hops up onto the top bunk for the night. Weiss sat at the desk with homework out going over it for the fourth time, and Ruby was in her bed playing on her scroll. Blake sat on the floor leaned against the bed. Meanwhile Yang was in the bathroom finishing up her shower.

Ahsoka lays down thinking about the day she had. This place isn't so bad. Kinda reminds me of the temple, just less strict. She sighs closing her eyes. Before she could sleep she's startled along with Weiss, Ruby, and Blake as Yang shouts in fear. Ahsoka hops down and rushes to the door.

"Yang are you okay?!" She asks.

"Y-yeah. Hang on." Yang opens the door revealing herself in her pajamas allowing the team in. Once everyone is in they look over to the closet which stashed the cleaning supplies. On the ground in a seated position was Anakin's robot Alexander. His arm missing and his head bashed open on one side while hanging by its wires. He seemed activated and was reaching his remaining hand out for help. "I didn't even know he was in their." Yang says.

Ruby approaches it and picks up the head. "Poor guy. What happened to you?" She mutters.

"How did he even get in here?" Weiss asks to which Blake and Yang shrug.

"Wait I'm confused." Ahsoka says. "Who's droid is this?"

"It's Anakin's." Blake explains. "He wanted to make a robot, but he never told us why."

Ahsoka nods. "So any guesses as to how it ended up in there?"

Weiss was about to speak but Ruby beat her to it. "Let's see if he can tell us himself." Ruby manages to reattach the head and Alexander sparks to life. Ruby then grabs her scroll and charger before plugging them into Alexander. After a bit of Ruby messing with her scroll she speaks. "Ha ha! Success!" The group huddles around her as her scroll begins showing a recording from Alexander's point of view. Ruby fast forwards through it till she sees something and rewinds before hitting play.

Alexander walks out of the SCRL dorm accompanied by R2-2.0. It was clear that the audio was buggy, and that not a lot could be heard. The two walk down the hall as two figures walk down the hall one a dual colored hair girl with a parasol, and the other a figure of terror. The Sith from the freeway, and the one called Neo. The two seemed surprised by the droid entering the hall way.

Neo seemed to realize that the droid could see through her illusions and attacked the droid slicing it's arm off and bashing its head. Alexander in panic kicked her away and ran to the RWBY dorm opening it just as it's head is seemingly sliced from the back. From there they could see from the dangling head that Alexander slammed the door knocking Neo back, and locking it. A firm pounding from the door could be heard causing Alexander to run to the bathroom and hide in the closet. Then it cuts to static.

RWBY and Ahsoka were staring wide eyed at what they just saw. "We have to take this to the headmaster." Ruby says.
