It was a warm but enjoyable night she had with her mom and dad, they went to see a movie about Batman vs Superman but no one knew about Kayla's stalker who followed her and someone was cutting peoples necks who were watching the movie, he had gotten in by dressing up as a movie employee, he would get to Kayla's parents, she acted immediately she told her parents to get to the car, she would lure him outside while her parents called the police who came immediately because this was considered a robbery and hostage situation by the time the police had the man on the ground, she let the police take over but they still questioned her, she went home after that, she would go patrolling as Nightgirl that night while grappling to building, she landed on a rooftop, she met him face to face the villain known as "WolfKnight"
