Back at the castle, the beast let out a roar. He was laying in bed, while (Y/n) was treating his wounds. The rest of the staff and Beau were watching.

"That hurts." He complained.

"If you held still, it wouldn't hurt as much." She told him.

"Well, if you hadn't run away, none of this would have happened." He scolded.

"Well, if you hadn't frightened me, I wouldn't have run away." She retaliated.

"Well, you shouldn't have been in the west wing." He argued.

"Well, you should learn to control your temper!" She retorted. "It's what got me sent away in the first place!"

The beast looked at her in shock.

"Princess, does that mean you remember?" Lumière asked hopefully.

She turned to look at him, "I do. When I touched the enchanted rose in the west wing, I got my memories back." She explained. She turned back to the beast.

"Hello...brother..." she said with a straight face.

The beast was too surprised to speak. After all these years, she finally came back to him. And he treated her like he had before. He turned away from her in guilt.

Seeing him do this, the girl sighed. "Try to get some rest."

"Thank you, you two." Mrs. Potts said.

"We are eternally grateful." Lumière thanked.

"Why do you care about him so much?" Beau asked.

"We've looked after him all his life." Mrs. Potts explained.

"But he's cursed you somehow. Why? You did nothing." Beau asked.

"Let's just say, he made the wrong person angry." (Y/n) told him.

"You're quite right there, dear. You see, when the master and the princess lost their mother, and his cruel father took that sweet innocent lad, and twisted him up to be like him, we did nothing." Mrs. Potts explained. "We didn't even help you, princess. And for that, we are so sorry."

"It's alright. I don't blame you at all." (Y/n) said.

"Let him sleep." Lumière said

....

Over the past few days, (Y/n) has spent them taking care of her brother and telling Beau about her childhood now that she could finally remember it.

(Y/n) was checking her brothers temperature, when Beau looked back over at the rose.

"What happens when the last petal falls?" Beau asked.

"The master remains a beast forever." Lumière said. "And we become..."

"Antiques." Mrs. Potts finished.

"Knick knacks." Lumière said.

"Lightly used houseware." Plumette chimed in.

"Rubbish. We become rubbish." Cogsworth stated bluntly.

"We want to help you." Beau said. "There must be someway to break the curse."

"Well there is one." Clogsworth started, before Lumière whacked him in the face.

"It's not for you to worry about lambs. We made our bed and we must lie in it." Mrs. Potts told them.

....

Beau was reading to (Y/n) and the beast was listening.

"Love can transpose to form and dignity. Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind." Beau glanced up at (Y/n) while reading. (Y/n) looked up at him, and he quickly looked away. "...and therefore..."
