y/n's pov:

my phone buzzed while i sat at my kitchen table. it was a text from nai. it read, hey y/n, there's a party tonight for the juniors and seniors tonight. vinnie's place, 9:30 sharp. see you there <3

great.

of course there's a party tonight, i'm not saying i didn't want to go. oh i'm going. but really. i wish i known before so i could go shopping. my closet has been looking dull lately.

i guess i'll fin something.

i scarfed down my nutella toast and ran upstairs.

i heard my mother yell from her room.

"mom! there's a party at vinnie's tonight for juniors and seniors!" i yelled

"ok and?" she yelled back

"can i go?" i said aggravated as i scanned my closet.

"yes but don't be stupid y/n," she sighed

yes.

all i needed now was an outfit.

boom.

there it was.

i picked it out and folded it on my bed. i would get ready at 8:00 tonight. my mom came in my room with some laundry.

"what time is this party?" she asked and placed a folded shirt on my bed.

"9:30" i replied.

"okay, well please be safe, please make sure to bring your pepper spray, drive safe," she said and kissed my forehead.

"where is it?"

"vinnie's,"

"ok well i have to get to work, see you tomorrow love" she said and walked out.

my mom was a nurse. it was 4:30 now and she had to work at 5, she would be home at like 1, i don't know why they gave her such long shifts but it haven't bothered me as much as i thought it would when she told me.

she slept and drank coffee during the day. keeping her awake during work.

i got a facetime call from vinnie and answered it quickly.

"hey," he said in a low deep voice,

"hi," i said as my stomach emerged with butterflies

"are you good?" he asked

"mhm," i said, i stood up and propped my phone up on the dresser

"there's my missing shirt," he laughed as he realized what i was wearing.

"oh hush, big party tonight huh?"

"yea i'm so excited," he said in a sarcastic voice, "it was naileas idea," he said

i looked at the clock and realized it was 8:06.

"vinnie i have to get ready," i said

"why so early,"

"i'm a girl,"

"right, call me after, or take me with you and put me on the empty stand across the shower?" he said

"ew no creep, how'd you know i have that there,"

"because i've pissed in there like a million times, you think i wouldn't notice,"
