ᴄɪɢᴀʀᴀᴛᴛᴇs (ɴᴏ sᴍᴜᴛ)

i woke up to an empty bed. i sat up and looked out the window, vinnie had his forearms on the balcony and he had a cigarette in his hand.

i told him that i didn't like when he smoked. but he doesn't listen. we've already had a few arguments about it. but he still continues, but i love him either way.

i let out a sigh and he turned around and smiled once he saw me.

he put it out and tossed it and then he walked into the room.

"morning," i smiled.

"morning love," he said he placed a soft kiss on my lips and i used my arm to wipe it off. again, i loved him, but i hated when he smoked and he just got done, so i'd rather not kiss him, yet.

of course, I kiss him when we're.. you know.. and all the time i kiss him, just not directly after he smokes.

i groaned and got out of bed, i got ready, quickly. i sat down next to vinnie on his bed.

"vin," i said, making him look up at me.

"hm?" he said

"um.. why..are you..still....smoking?" i said, quiet enough that he could still hear me.

"y/n you know i don't like to talk about it." he replied

"i know.. and i dont either but i just... im worried, v," i said and he nodded

"it's just... my anxiety is getting worse and i just don't know what to do with myself anymore," he said

hearing those words come from me absolutely broke my heart. i knew vinnie had bad anxiety but he never told me it was getting worse. he would start shaking out of nowhere or he'd fidget with his rings a lot.

"it's okay vin.." i said and he pulled me into a hug.

and he kissed me. again.

i made sure he wasn't looking to make sure he didn't see me while the kiss away. or so i thought.

"y/n.." he whispered.

"hm?" i said

"did you just.. wipe my kiss away," he said and he gave me the eyes, those eyes...

"um.. no.." i clearly lied

"why'd you wipe it off..?" he said sadly

"it's just.." i said, "i didnt v.." i lied, again.

"y/n you did just tell me why and we can move on," he stated and i sighed

"it's just.. you.. just got done smoking." i said and crossed my arms.

"listen love, if you want me to stop i can it's just.. i don't know anymore. i'll stop but i really need your help to make it work." he said

"okay.." i smiled and he brought me into another hug.

"i love you.." he said

"i love you too." i replied.
