as alex was setting up downstairs for a bit in his vlog nick and i were in his room cuddling not giving up the chance of being able to be touchy with eachother without having to worry that the others would see us
as i dug my face into his neck, nick placed small kisses onto my head which were quickly interrupted when i pulled away from my comfortable position to check who had messaged me causing him to let out a groan of annoyance

after responding to Alex i quickly shut off my phone and leaned over to give nick a quick kiss
'cant you stay like ten more minutes' nick asks with a frown on his face
'i'm sorry baby, alex needs me for a bit and i don't want him to come and catch us' i say pecking his lips
nick and i didn't wernt sure if we wanted social media to find out we were dating and we weren't going to risk one of our friends accidentally exposing us so we decided not to tell them either just as a form of precaution
after getting up, much to nick's protest, i headed downstairs to see what alex wanted me to do
as i reached the bottom of the stairs i noticed he was sat down at one of the couches with ryland. as i approached alex on the couch he noticed me and a grin began to form on his face
'okay so i'm gonna need you and ryland to sit next to each other there and i'll tell you what i would like for you to do once i turn on the camera. sound good?' alex said pointing to the couch across from where he was sat down
as i situated myself next to ryland on the couch i realized many of our friends had gathered around us including nick, which had come down not long after i did
alex-bold 'so this is ryland and y/n' i wave at the camera 'so i do this thing on my channel where i have my friends kiss for the first time and umm this is you guys' as alex finishes his sentence my eyes go wide and i turn to see ryland staring back at me with the same expression.
ryland is the only one that knows about nick and i's relationship and that's only because he walked into nicks room one time while we were kissing. since then we have learned our lesson and lock the door even when just cuddling
'what are the odds if i get the same number as you guys then you have to kiss, and if i don't you get 6,000 dollars' as i pick up the money from the table i look around the room at everyone staring anxiously at us waiting for an answer and throw a look of sorry to nick who looks bothered by the idea of how best friend kissing his girlfriend
staring at our friends and receiving a nod from nick i then turn to ryland who is waiting for me to answer. i finally turn to alex,
'sure'
those 4 letters made all of our friends jump around and get excited
'pick a representative on your side ok, and i'll pick a representative on my side'
ryland and michael were sat across eachother ready for alex to begin the countdown in order to say their number
three, two, one
four
'okay cool' alex says laughing
as soon as i realize they said the same number my eyes quickly go to find nick who i find was already staring at me with an expression i couldn't quite figure out but it sure as hell wasn't happy
with many people loudly cheering us on. ryland and i were facing each other, really regretting having picked the number four as both of us were worried as to how nick was going to react
swallowing the lump in my throat i started to lean in but before our lips could touch i felt someone grab my face and smash their lips onto mine which i quickly recognized as nicks and returned the kiss
this action of course led to all our friends loosing their shit and ryland feeling relieved.
as we pulled apart i smiled at nick while placing my hand on his cheek and turned to a very surprised looking alex still filming us
'surprise?' i say with a guilty smile on my face
the rest of the day was full of many questions and nick and i finally being able to kiss and hug in front of our friends
